This company was very prompt and helped us out of a tough situation. He was very knowledgeable and was very fair on his pricing. We will definitely use him again for our business.

Scott was very quick to respond and quick to repair. He is respectful of your property so he is cleanly and doesn't leave your house/bathroom a mess. I highly reccomend him to friends and family for all their plumbing needs.

Got fleeced on the third job we hired the owner for, having put trust in him after good experience with first two jobs. However, if you are looking for a plumber who charges about $400 per hour, then Scotts Pluming may be a good choice. The last job we had was a kitchen faucet installation. We simply called Scotts Plumbing and just asked them to get it done. We did not hide the fact that we did not get other quotes. We ended up being billed for $800 for a straightforward install job. (Not yet paid. I stopped the check while I explore my legal options.) This included a line item of $396.12 for 2 angle stops, which as a standard practice is normally be included as part of faucet installation. (Apparently, this item was correctly included in the previous two job. As it happens, the previous two jobs were also installation of faucets, in bathrooms. Job-1: Installation of 1 faucet, total cost with tax = $269.52, Job-2: Installation of 3 faucets, total cost with tax = $626.89. Clearly, the angle stops labor was correctly included as part of the faucet installation on those two jobs, and not charged as a separate line item.) The new job probably took about 2 hours (and was similar in terms of time/effort as the previous two jobs), but was charged about 3 times of what would be a reasonable price. Bottom-line, we will obviously not hire Scotts in the future. We also learned a our lesson, and will not put our trust blindly in another business, and will likely verify that the cost of a job is reasonable each quote in the future. (Note: looking at a couple of other negative reviews on other websites, the response from the business is likely going to be along the lines of we quoted upfront etc., which ignores the fact that they pretty much dipped into out wallet when we were not looking.)

Great response time - however when they showed up, over priced and left a huge mess for staff to clean up.

The plumber was great but the cost for a fifteen-minute drain cleaning was a shock

Scammed me out of 250.00 dollars just to show up to then only say they don't work on toilets, then tried to up charge me into a 1,700 dollar air blowout when all he had to do was run a snake through the line to clear the problem, another company came out and cleared the line, this company is a scam artist.

The plumber was easy to work with and explained what he had to do as well as what the cost would be.

The bid was higher than most. If I could have waited I would have waited for a better bid. When he took the trap off he showed me all the grease in the trap, but he put it back together as it was. After he left I had to remove the trap and clean it myself.

Their employee Jonathan arrived with a smile and knowledge. Who can ask for more?

Very professional BUT highly expensive. It took 1.5 hours of labor to repair our toilet, however no toilet labor should equate to $250 per hour rate. Yes, repair. Purchasing a new one would have been more expensive. Didn't know I lived in Trump Tower.

AABSOULUTELY THE WORST SERVICE EVER. RUDE AND INCOMPETENT. What a rip off! Quoted $400 to snake sewer line. DID NOT WORK. We need to do a service they cannot perform, but we were still charged over $500. They never said it would be more till the bill came when I just got home. I had a handle that needed replacing which I could have done myself but he said he wouldn't charge me- but he did. The hourly rate of $120. How is that NOT charging me? The worker said "It would be more if I charged". More than what? $120/hr? WTH? I check my GPS for when I come and left bc he arrived just as I was going and was done when I got back. 2:15 to 5:20, I was gone and he had finished about "5 min ago". I was billed for 3.5 hours. On top of that, he dumped the invoice my mom signed for the quote of $395 and re-wrote it for $500, but did not ask her if she Okayed the amount. I did not realize what happened until he left and I could question my mom. On top of that. We were also charged an equipment charge of $75. COMPLETE RIP OFF. That's DOUBLE charging the client. I don't charge my clients because I use my computer. The guy says "It's a really expensive piece of equipment". That's the cost of YOU doing business. THEN- I go into my bathroom and the toilet is clogged and there is feces and water with the plug pulled IN MY TUB. The toilet worked before, but was draining slowly. After $500- it did not work AT ALL!!!!!!! When I asked the worker about the fees he was vague about why there are charges for "actually doing something" on top of being there. I call the owner. Told him what was going on that I wanted a $150 refund of the charge and that he had to put my toilet back to how it was functioning before. His reply: "I don't have time for this." and hung up. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE EVER. RUDE AND INCOMPETENT.

Way to high priced for jobs to be done.

Scott's licensed plumber tech. was personable, quick, professional, conscientious, informative. It's been a long time since I've had to hire a plumber so I had a bit of sticker shock, but it was worth it and I would hire Scott's Plumbing again.

Scott is a perfectionist . He is also a super nice person and we enjoyed talking with him. We had no problem leaving our home to do errands, etc., with him in the house. We would hire him in a heartbeat.

Woke up in the morning with no hot water, Scott's Plumbing was here within 35 minutes and fixed our water heater and noticed other things that needed repair. They had us all fixed up in about 2 hours. Great service, thank you.
