I work (a lot) and don't always get the house picked up so they can do a simple cleaning. I have had cleaners who complained about that. Scrubby Dutch people don't complain, they do a great job moving things out of the way, or doing whatever they can. I am perfectly happy with what they do and very, very happy they accept it as it is. <br /> I have found them to be flexible (cancelling for me sometimes if I need it ---some cleaners want a fixed amount per month ), moving days around if I need it, etc. <br /> I get pretty much the same team all the time, which I like. <br /> The company doesn't allow them to take gratuities, except during these holidays, which makes things easier for all of us. <br /> Their cost is very reasonable. <br /> In 8 years, I've never seen anything missing. They did break 2 things over 8 years, and told me about both. One was an old catfood tray and I forget what the other was, but neither were important. I liked that they left me a note about it. <br /> Theyhave always been reliable and done a good job. <br />

Cleaning job was JUST adequate. If I'd found any more spots they missed, I'd have called to complain for refund or re-do. Workers were curt, but did work the entire time as far as I could tell.

They only did the minimal amount of work to make it look clean. They wouldn't work on cleaning the kitchen floor other than a basic mop.

"We charge by the hour, $25.00 per person, per hour ,and when the customer booked the cleaning, nothing was mentioned about extra time for the kitchen floor, or we would have been glad to help her out."

They do a thorough job and even help organize a little while they tidy up. If I have a pile of papers on my desk they remove them, clean under them and replace them and it looks much neater. I am happy with their service and cleaning crews.

The first few times they came, I was most impressed with how well they cleaned my hardwood floors and kitchen. They did a fine job in the bathrooms and the rest of the house. After several visits, things just didn't look as good. The shower still had grunge, the counter tops were not even touched and even after they returned to do it right, it was not right.

This past Wednesday, the girl was vigorously sweeping the detritus material onto our carpet. I was appalled. Later, I came home and went up to the bathroom to see the bathroom rugs soaking wet in the bedroom carpet. Later in the evening I look under the coffee to see one of the vitamins the had been swept from the kitchen into the living room.

I have been using them now for a while. The quality of the cleaning is average. A couple of annoying things; every visit it is a different crew so I have to go over the particulars every time they come out, and the mops they use leave thick strands randomly throughout the house.

I would not recommend this company unless you are there to micromanage the tasks. I expected that the crew would be able to see what needed to be done and do it.

Scrubby Dutch called me right back when I left a message. The cleaners arrived on time and did a very good job. They set out some vases and dresser scarves they found sitting around to make it look nice for the guests. That made me realize that they were not just cleaning a house, but that they understood WHY I was cleaning and they looked at the big picture. Very nice.

Two people arrived a little early and asked what I needed done. They followed my instructions and worked efficiently and professionally. Each person spent an hour, for a total of 2 hours cleaning time. I would work with them again, but would ask them to spend more time, so that the cleaning could be more thorough.

The contact person said I need not be there when the cleaning was performed. They called the day before to give me an arrival time & I left a key. I would much prefer to be able to set up a fixed time in advance so I can be there to deal with my dogs- who, I am sure made a real ruckus with 2 strangers in the house. I paid for 3 hours of cleaning (left a $150 check) by 2 employees, but they were finished in 2 hours. I have a $50 credit which I will redeem as soon as I can figure out the dog issue. I wasn't particularly impressed with the telephone contact, who gave me a little bit of the feeling she was doing me a favor by accepting my business & seemed in a hurry to get me off the line.

SCRUBBY DUTCH HAS DONE THE BEST JOB SO FAR OF ANY CLEANING CREWS THAT I HAVE HIRED. THEY HAVE BEEN ON TIME AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY DO SURFACE CLEANING BUT A VERY GOOD JOB WITH THAT.
