First he called, running late on the wrong day. Then on the right day he never showed. Like a fool I called him. Said he forgot. Not even a sorry. So the next time scheduled he was an hour late. He was not even prepared!!! I only needed 3 lights under the counter installed. Already had all the wiring done. Just a simple hardwire and mount. He said I dont have what I need have to come back. So I rearranged yet another day. He sent a message thru Angi that he was on quartine since the day before since he had been around someone with Covid. he couldnt have let me know the day before? He is a hot mess beware!

Put me off for a week, then on the day he was two hours late and when I called to see where he was he said he was running behind, which is fine but the an hour later i get a text saying he had to cancel the job!!! There was considerable prep work on my part, not to mention the time off to be here. Not cool Mr. Scruggs Unreliable. Will not return phone calls. Left me high and dry.

John came out to work on a Generac generator a few times. Then he stopped coming and did not answer his phone when we called to check on the progress. Nor did he return our messages. Very unprofessional.

John came out and not only fixed the issue he was hired to do, he helped me with a completely unrelated repair and didn't even hesitate. Absolutely wonderful service and quality of work. If you are looking for an expert at reasonable price, there is no one better than Scruggs Services!

Great, prompt service

This guy John was 2 hrs late, came out and said he was going to put new door bell in next day. He never came out or called. Now I have wires hanging out of my house with old door bell cover on my porch. Never been more disappointed in my life. It's been 3 weeks. I'm moving on to someone else.

Scruggs came to the house. He detected what was wrong but couldn't find the root cause. During the process he caused other outlets to go out. He came back and fixed the other outlets but they went back out the next day. He spent over 6 hours in my house without fixing the main item. I just had a different electrician out this morning. He fixed the problem Scruggs left behind and the original problem within an hour at a reasonable price. Scruggs is a nice guy and means well. Just didn't follow through on any of it. Last contact with him was for him to come out another day to fix everything. He no showed and wouldn't accept my calls.

I am remodeling a house and John handled my electrical, plumbing and lighting issues. He had a lot of good advice and checked with me before he began each project to confirm his plan. John went above and beyond to make sure all the outlets were grounded properly and working. I will definitely use him on future projects.
