Working with Jimmy at Seamingly Straight—from the first communication to the final install—was a pure joy. We had purchased a sizeable 3D mural online and crossed our fingers that it would turn out as well as we had imagined. It wasn’t cheap, and it was to be the focal point of our family room. After a disappointing experience with another wallpaper installer who completely botched the job, wasting $1800 on ruined wallpaper, we decided to give Seamingly Straight and Jimmy a try based on strong recommendations. We're so glad we did! Jimmy not only removed the previous installer’s work but also carefully re-primed and sanded the walls before expertly hanging the new wallpaper. It was no easy task, as the wallpaper was being installed on a vaulted wall — a challenge that the first contractor clearly didn’t have the experience to handle. Not only did Jimmy get the job done perfectly, but he also showed up on time, kept the work area tidy, and even won the hearts of our dogs. He was a pleasure to have around, sharing fascinating stories about his life along the way. We couldn't be more pleased with the results and wholeheartedly recommend his services!

This will be my review: After our contractors ruined our existing wall paper, they had Jimmy come from Seamingly Straight to redo our powder room. First and foremost, Jimmy was very responsive on schedule and always 20 minutes early. He was always there when he said he would be and always ready with the correct tools for his craft. His workmanship is incredible and his attention to detail something I have not seen as of recent. He takes great pride in the work he does and I was thoroughly impressed. The company name is not appropriate, Jimmy's work is not "seamingly straight" it is perfectly and most accurately straight. The work is impeccable and he should be used especially for high value homes with discerning owners. Beyond the professional and great standard of work, Jimmy is a very nice reliable and honest person. I really enjoyed hearing about his stories in Kenya and his love for travel and people. He was always deeply respectful of our space and time. It is rare I write reviews but the work deserves praise and credit. Looking forward to having Jimmy come back to do some wallpaper in other areas of our home.

Jimmy is honest, kind, compassionate, communicative, thorough and incredibly hardworking. He is a master of his craft, and I do not say that lightly. He applied plaster to my bathrooms and I could not be more thrilled with the outcome and the process was so enjoyable. It was great having Jimmy in our home, we feel like he is family. He is an artist and he really cares about the work he produces for you. In an industry filled with shoddy work and people trying to make a quick buck at any cost, Jimmy and his wife are a breath of fresh air. I will continue to work with them forever and ever.

I'm more than satisfied with Jimmy's skill and craftsmanship. I'd read such positive reviews that when I initially contacted him and he told me that he wouldn't be able to get to me for a few months, I told him I was willing to wait. And boy! was that a great decision. Jimmy loved my choice of wallpaper and as he put piece after piece up, we both enjoyed the spectacle. Jimmy's attention to detail, patience, and steadfast approach to his craft shows in the beautiful, magical result--my powder room sings with vibrant colors. Nothing distracts from his expert work--the "seams" were "straight" (and what a fun name he's given his business), and the walls look as if they were painted rather than covered in paper. You should definitely give Jimmy your business--he's "the best"!

I hired Jimmy based on his 5 Star reviews and now I get to add my own. We just moved into our new build home and purchased Gucci wallpaper for our powder room. Because it was so pricey I knew I needed the best to hang it, PLUS we had virtually no paper to waste. Jimmy was extremely responsive to text messages and while we had to wait a bit to get an installation day appointment due to his busy schedule it was worth the wait! Jimmy was on time and extremely neat. The wall came out beautiful and we plan on having him back to hang papers in other rooms.

Better than could ever have asked for!! Jimmie is an artist! He wallpapered one wall that I had ordered from another vendor of an aviation sectional map. No seems to be found anywhere!!
