The service & price were good overall. We were on a tight schedule & I did have to call the salesperson once to make sure we got scheduled. He failed to get us scheduled right away, but the job did completed on time as promised.

We bought a Carrier Infinity Heating and a 4-ton Air Conditioning unit with an Air Cleaner from Sears on 10/1/10. It took 52 days for them to get everything working, fix the stain they made on our carpet and finally completing the paperwork. We were not treated respectfully. The contractor was late or a no show and was often rude. Neither he nor the Sears district office returned our calls and we had to fight every inch of the way to get this job done.

Completed the project in one day; good work, no problems. I recommend them to others.

Each individual I spoke with and met face-to-face was a professional and expressed their desire to expedite my order even during a time when it was very hot here, and I knew their workload was heavy. I actually received service from a south Chicago staff of 2 men. They called as they were on the way to verify we were home. They arrived on schedule, started the job, and finished in quick order. They asked if I had any questions about the unit, demonstrated its use, and advised me regarding fall care. Before starting they laid a trail of canvas to protect our wood floor from their foot traffic from the back door to the top of the downstairs door, and were careful to stay on this, avoiding tracking the floor since it was raining outside and they could have made a real mess. Afterwards they cleaned up everything inside and outside.

They gave a thorough assessment of my needs, how they could be met, and the continued protection agreement was appropriate. They work as a team to provide services with 24 hour service. Last month my electri bill was down $29.00.

Came out the next day and cared about what we wanted.

Sears has done a great job. The installation contractor has been a little slow to respond however.

They did a wonderful job from beginning to end - were mindful of our budget and did not recommend more than we needed. They also offered a great financing option. The HVAC contractor arrived as scheduled, completed the job quickly, and cleaned up completely. The furnace has been in operation now for over a month and we have had no problems.

I was very pleased with the sales person and also with the installers. They were helpful in explaining how all the systems worked. When my system was installed there was a valve that did not work and every one did a great job to get the replacement part as soon as possible.

The installers were great..They explained everything I needed to know. They left the job sight cleaner than I had hoped for. Very nice workers indeed.
