i think ill be real happy with the furnace but i wont know until this winter. the contractor that did the installation for sears was absolutely great. my only problem, is when i call sears with a problem or question, they don't call me back. the service after the sale is leaving a bad taste in my mouth and i hope i dont regret using sears.

Received good advice on installing an evaporative cooler instead of air conditioning due to the layout of house, cost, efficiency. Unit was installed within a week and contractor did an excellent job.

every one was on time and made shure we understood price and how to take care of our new furnace, and sofar it works great. and we have recommended sears to all our friends and family, thank you so much for getting the work done so fast.

The job started on the scheduled time, took 2 to 3 hours (I wasn't timing it) to complete. Finished a couple of weeks ago, and I'm very pleased with the result. The house is steadily warmer now that it was with the old furnace, and the timer works fine. I turn the temp down for sleeping hours. All works great.

Overall, I was pleased with the job and the product. A couple of problems were eventually corrected. One - the first electrican either did not have the necessary replacement/new breakers which the second electrican was able to accomodate over the matter of a week (appointment schedules, etc.). Two - the AC installer had not pulled a required permit and took a couple weeks to get the inspections completed.

Damaged my house during the estimate. The installers were unsuccessful and ill-equipped to install the equipment properly (were late, wasted my entire day, and forced me to take another day off work to complete the install.)

Sears was very responsive and was able to install my a/c system quickly. They were slightly more expensive than the other estimates, but I chose them based on reputation and for peace of mind, knowing they will be around for a long time. I had to make several phone calls to obtain the building permit and City inspection; it seemed that someone at Sears let this fall through the cracks initially. Overall, a good experience.

The swamp cooler was installed yesterday (99 degree weather) by two people who were professional and very hard working!

Some miscommunication has drawn the job out over a period of three weeks.

They were the only ones to respond to my request. I located two other bids and, while Sears was not the low bid, they were the most comprehensive in work statement and support.
