Sears Heating and Cooling - Dayton

I purchased a furnace from Sears and tried to set up the install and had nothing but trouble. I was switching from electric to gas and needed to have the gas service turned back on to my house. Sears sent an out of state hvac contractor to install a short segment of gas pipe without a license or a permit from the city. I eventually was able to cancel the contract but wish I had known that I was going to lose 2 weeks of my life and walk away with nothing.

They installed the furnace in a resonable amount of time and did a good job. Friendly service.

The Sears Sales representative was very thorough when explaining each of the options that were available. The installers were also very accomodating when we scheduled the installation. Overall I am very satisfied with the experience.

The reps were very knowledgeable, and dependable. Answered all the questions that I asked them. And they cleaned up very well, and I didn't have to do a thing with them, didn't have to help them.

The Sears Salesman was friendly and helpful. The contractor that took the job was Perfect Temp out of Springfield. They did a professional job and were businesslike and friendly. We especially liked the fact that they never left a mess. You would not have realized they were even in the house except for the noticing the progress of the installation. The first heat pump unit was faulty however which was discovered during installation but the next one was fine (so far). The first thermostat didn't work so a new one/different brand was installed. It took 3 weeks to get the electrical box to work correctly without blowing fuses.

All of the men involved in this job were very nice and eager to help me. I appreciate the quality of service and willingness to get the job done. Sears is still one of the best! Brian David Nelson Dayton, Ohio
