Sears Heating and Cooling - Hyde Park

I'm very happy with the service, quality,and timeliness and everything the contractor did. The only thing I'm wondering about is whether after the installation is complete whether or not the contractor adjusted the

very nice people coming to my house, they finished the project on time

We asked for a particular contractor for the installation and we were told he would be our installer. Another person in the contractors employ actually showed up to do the work. He had no knowledge of the scope of the job and we had to monitor the installation We were suppossed to get a new line set and he asked if he could flush the old line set instead. I said no, please install a new one according to my contract and he asked if he cold leave the old line set in the ceiling. Again, I said no, please remove the old line set. A hole was misdrilled in the side of my house and as a result a line hide line set cover had to be installed.

The parts took a few weeks longer to arrive than the salesman believed they would, everything else went great. Our primary reason for going with Sears over the other options was simply the ability to finance through them as well and pay no interest by paying it off in under a year.

We signed the contract on August 18. We called August 26 and was told the order was not received. I was also told the job would not be started for at least six weeks. this is not acceptable.
