I hired Secure Seismic to do a retrofit of my single story ranch built in the 1970s. Though I'm in the southern Willamette Valley and a ways from Portland, Daryl came down to give me a free estimate. Secure Seismic came in below their competitors and Daryl discusssd the plan with me in depth. Based upon the quality of the reviews, I hired Secure Seismic. They scheduled out within a couple of weeks. Johny the foreman kept me on the loop while they were at my house. They completed the job within a day and left the site clean. Pieces of drywall cut for access in the garage were thoughtfully replaced and will take little effort to clean up. Thanks for great work! I already sleep a little better knowing that my house will likely be okay when the big one hits.

I canâ t say enough about what a great job Daryl and his crew did. The job included replacement of 11â of basement foundation wall, demolition of brick front porch, and rebuilding of substructure for new porch. Communication was excellent. Estimates were reasonable as were charges for extras. Daryl listened to what we wanted and planned the scope accordingly. The crew were excellent workers, polite, and left the site as clean and safe as possible. Daryl anticipated many of our questions and worked well with the architect and engineer. Iâ ll also note that the admin Nicol did a great job keeping us updated on schedule. This is an often overlooked aspect of contractor-customer relations, but it makes such a difference to always have someone to contact who responds promptly. I highly recommend Secure Seismic for any kind of structural or seismic work and found them much better to deal with than some of the big national brands that work in this field.

Site visit conducted by an engineer. Estimate was clear. Work was done in one day and our home was left in good condition. All was done as they said it would be.

Daryl did a good job explaining the work needed and was very responsive to my questions. The work crew was careful and polite. They went out of their way to consult me and to explain what they had done. They took numerous photos to show aspects of their work. We have a very tight crawl space but the crew took on the challenge with a smile. They ended up installing even more brackets than they had initially estimated, giving us even better protection than we had anticipated. I highly recommend their work.

Daryl came and evaluated my home and he only suggested installing an automatic gas shutoff valve. The rest was fine with my home. He gave me a price and since I found an active Groupon's with a discount for his company he honored it without me going through Groupon. So great service overall although the original pricing could have been lower given the existent Groupon (he mentioned that was posted long time ago, had forgotten about it but was still active).

Excellent about explaining retrofit seismic process and how it works. Very responsive in responding to any inquiries and very efficient and orderly in performing the actual work.

The two representatives could not have been nicer. They were exceptional, They worked quickly, efficiently . and competently. I was very impressed and can't rate them as highly as they deserve. I would highly recommend Secure Seismic.

We have a very tight crawl space and they were willing to take on the job when another company did not want to do it. The job was done when they said and within the price. Both owners were knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the company.

I appreciated their thoroughness and they were the one company I contacted that only does jobs that includes inspection by the city; others contractors tried to talk me into skirting inspection. That says volumes.

Prior to contacting Secure Seismic we had two other contractors out to bid for an earthquake retrofit of our 1968 home. The best know contractor estimated $20,000 to bolt the foundation to several 21 foot sections of plywood to create "shear walls". When our general contractor heard of this he took out the home's original plans and identified 10" bolts already connecting the foundation to the frame. Secure Seismic verified the existence of these bolts every four feet along the perimeter. Secure Seismic said that, were they to retrofit, it would be to approximately the standard of the origin construction. They agreed to secure an exterior porch and deck that the pricey contractor refused to touch. Secure Seismic's work was excellent and saved us $18,500 while protecting the porch and deck. Can't beat this company. Don't let fear lead you into paying large sums for unnecessary work.

Highly trained and knowledgeable seismic engineer, and terrific workmen. They finished the project on time and the drywall repair was top notch.

A totally positive experience ... responsive and professional. They accommodated everything I needed, including a very specific timeframe. They provided documentation of the earthquake retrofit for my records. It is unusual to find a contractor who is so good that you can't find anything to complain about ... this company is it.

Daryl, Drew and their crew did a wonderful job. My home was built in 1984 and was not attached to my foundation properly. I did not know this. Now, I can relax and know my home is now "secure". Thank you Daryl and Drew.
