Select took over work for customers performed by Jay Barnett. He was getting out of the HVAC business at that time. Select came out and replaced/repaired my thermostat. Jay was not licensed to do the work in Iowa at that time of installation, but he was licensed in Nebraska . Jay repeatedly said he was getting his Iowa license and would pull a permit and have the city inspection approved. That has not happen. No other HVAC company will perform maintenance on it since it was never approved by the city. Select refuses to take my calls or return messages left with them. I would not trust them to follow through on promises or work performed when they dodge calls and refuse to honor their commitments.

We had quite the expansive renovation project and Tradesman dedicated so much time and expertise to what we needed. We're so happy with how our kitchen and bathroom renovations have turned out along with the door, trim, and stair banister work that was needed along the way.

Bill was supportive when we interacted with suppliers. We appreciated the transparency of our costs. As much as possible Bill and his team worked on a predictable schedule. The quality of subcontractors was uneven but Bill ensured that all work was completed to our satisfaction. We appreciated the effort Bill's team made to clean up at the end of each day. That made going through the process easier and less stressful.

Bill and all the guys who worked on my project were amazing. They made it a very positive experience. I had a great time with all of them. They finished on time and on budget! I've heard so many horror stories about renovations and that was not my experience. I am so proud of my new kitchen!

Bill's easy to work with, knows his craft and has great contacts amongst all the tradespeople and suppliers you might need. He works as long and as many days as needed to complete a project, except for Saturdays if the Huskers are playing. Great guy, I highly recommend him. I've remodeled dozens of homes over the years, so have dealt with many contractors and sub-contractors. Finding one that actually brings a job to completion, ensures the punch list is complete and follows up is rare. You won't be disappointed.

The Tradesman was the best professional I have ever hired for a home project. He built a fence for my backyard by hand. He reinforce it to make it last for decades and used top quality products. He takes pride in his work and it shows. My new fence will last for decades, was done at a great price and increaed my home's value. He communicated throughout the entire process. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again for another home project.

Our workman needed to do some research to find siding that matched our siding & he was successful in finding just the right product. After he completed an area, we weren't totally satisfied, but he responded and fixed it & we are now very satisfied. I would recommend him to my family and friends. We are pleased.

Bill if very easy to talk to about projects and tries to make the best choice for the job. Makes sure you are completely happy before signing off on the remodel. We had some drywall issues and he fixed them to our and his desired level of appearance. I would recommend him to anyone need this type of work. He does have a good sense of humor which always helps out!

The Tradesman was courteous & considerate and performed professional work in a timely manner.

I was especially appreciative that he assessed the project - which was to power wash and seal the deck - first and noticed that there were some repairs that needed to be made and was able to make those repairs. He worked every day (even on 90+ degree days) and was very committed to the job.
