Semanji, the owner of Self Made Clt, is a go-getter and salesman. The problem is that he hired the wrong subcontractor and overpromised when the work would be completed. Instead of a 1-day job, it turned into a week-long job. The 2nd subcontractor was thorough and completed the work as his schedule allowed (That's why it stretched into a week). I was also quoted one rate in the beginning ($800.00) for the completion of the two decks in one day, but it ended up costing me $1200.00 total. As I expressed to Semanji, I relied on his expertise to give me an initial quote that included everything he assessed. Overall, I am pleased with the quality of work that was completed by the 2nd subcontractor but not pleased with the misquote of the job, the overall time it took to complete, and the lack of communication (from Semanji) throughout. Semanji, the owner, seems sincere with his promise to refund the $400.00. I have been waiting on the refund thru cashapp since November 5th. I would like for HomeAdvisors or Angis to follow up with me, if I do not hear from Semanji/Self Made by November 16th.

Selfmade CLT did a spectacular job on my 5 bedroom 2 story home. They were punctual and precise. They were very professional in manner and very well organized. I also had laminate flooring installed in which they did a GREAT job in my rental property, I would TOTALLY recommend these guys! Wholeheartedly
