Steve worked with Matt Lee in a prior firm, Frame to Finish. Matt was a fast talker and big promiser, who took a $10,000 deposit, but never started the project and only returned $1,500 of the deposit. To Steve s credit, he finished the project for the balance owed. Steve has good carpenter skills. He was easy to work with and had good suggestions for the project. Since his partner took the money, the remaining balance may not have been enough to take care of the finishing touches like returning the key. Otherwise I might have rated Steve higher.

Steve went above and beyond, he responded to my call immediately and showed up the following morning to plow the driveway. He even plowed the walkway and plowed a path to our generator behind the house. I’d give him a hundred star rating if I could :)
