Semper Solaris

I moved to Bakersfield 2 years ago from Los Angeles, and my place needed a new roof and HVAC system. I also wanted a Solar & Storage system which is a pretty tall order right?! Well, I figured it out and started the process with Robert at Semper Solaris. I have (9) squares of flat roof and (5) squares of slope. I discovered that the flat section of my roof wasn't draining properly so I decided to have the company build a taper system for my new IB PVC roof. I also chose their Owens Corning, Duration Cool product for the sloped portion, and voila! It came out perfect! While in the permitting process for my Solar & Storage system, we were ready to install my new 5 Ton, 16 SEER, all-electric package unit. To reduce exposure to common bacteria & viruses and to protect against allergies & asthma, I made sure we added the MicroPure MX4 Air Scrubber and AprilAire 5000 Air Filter. I also added the ECOBEE digital thermostat. ALL HIGHLY RECOMMENDED add ons! Next up, (25) 360W Panasonic Evervolt panels with SolarEdge inverters! I also installed (2) Tesla Powerwall batteries. Why? I bit the bullet to be as legally off the grid as possible! My main motivation for my (2) batteries was to transform my house into a "Self-Powered Home! Some of the other companies didnâ  t want to come out to my home. They wanted to do everything over the phone. Some of them even had the wrong house. Some companies didnâ  t have time to come out and they werenâ  t clear. Rae from Semper Solaris came out and looked at everything. We had to reschedule the final inspection a few times. That was a little frustrating but it worked out. My experience with my consultant Raedene Solano was great. I have no problem getting a hold of Rae and I always get my questions answered.

I had solar on my old house and when I moved hear to the new house I knew I had to get solar bc otherws I wasnâ t gonna make it. I saw the commercial and liked it so I called and they sent Rae Solano to my house and she made me really happy. She knows her stuff. I talked to another guy from another company and she was better than him. She needs to be the CEO. Get your solar from Semper Solaris. Theyâ re good. They know what theyâ re doing. And ask for Rae, she knows her stuff.

Semper Solaris installed my solar in 2018 before my husband died. Now I live here by myself and if the power goes out not only do I not know how to hook up a generator, I don't even know where it is! Even if i did know I would have to be putting gas and I can barely walk. I called Semper Solaris and told them what can they do for me. They sent this nice young lady. Her name is Raedene Solano. Everyone calls her Rae like on Star Wars and she was wonderful in explaining how all this stuff works and she taught me about the Tesla Powerwall battery. The guys that put it in were courteous and did a nice job. Everyone was asking why I was getting these things and did i really need to spend money on that! Now they call me in an outage and tell me they don't have power and I laugh, "sorry, what do you want me to do about it???!!!

I saw a Semper Solaris commercial on T.V. and called them right away. Robert Alva was on time, courteous, patient, and thorough. We purchased a 2nd system and two Tesla Powerwalls so we could become a "Self-Powered" home. I'm a veteran (Navy) and love to support veterans whenever possible! I highly recommend Robert Alva and Semper Solaris.

My installation was large and complicated for many reasons including the shape of my roof,my electrical needs and COVID-19.The people at Semper Solaris from my sales person,installation team and financial team were very responsive to my needs and my needs for reassurance,etc.The system is fantastic and I highly recommend them.

The presentation and the fact it is veteran owned sold us. It was a long process occurring during the Covid pandemic. The representatives were nonetheless quick to return calls and our questions and issues always resolved to our satisfaction. The foremen and workers were efficient and professional and all attentive to our concerns. We are happy with Semper Solaris and would highly recommend them.

Rae the solar consultant has done an outstanding job for my family from explaining the system to designing the perfect system to showing us step by step what are panels are doing to produce electrical power for our house. Once the system was up and running she came out and walked us through the on/off breakers and switches. Carlos Martinez was my construction manager for my roof installation. He was OUTSTANDING. He explained everything step by step and always kept me up to date on the next step/process. Him and his work crew did an awesome Job......

Our home inspector recommended Semper Solaris since they did his home. We met with Bob King who got us all set up. We were in the middle of a refi and Semper kept up with us and waited until we were ready to move forward. That was huge. It was a flawless install â they explained what each step was throughout the process. Semper kept us apprised of all the inspections and handled all of it. Now that our system is turned on weâ ve seen savings and love having the freedom to use energy the way we want to â we like it colder especially in the summertime! I chose Semper Solaris after looking at a lot of different companies. Semper offered the right panels. I read a lot of reviews and felt like Semper had what I was looking for. Working with Bob King was fine. He was very straightforward. The crew was pretty good. They were happy and enthusiastic. Sun Power had an issue with the microinverters so we had them replaced in December and the system is working better. I will definitely recommend Semper to friends and family and provide my experience with the company.

After spending several hundred dollars a month on electric bills. We finally decided to look into solar. Our sales rep. Chase Calkins explained everything about solar and the quality of the products they offer. He took the time to ensure all our questions were answered and we were comfortable and happy with our decision to go solar. The install crews did a great job and were very professional. Needed some solar panels for my company and I didn t know where else to go because so many other companies that I tried were either too rude, or they had ridiculous prices and a crazy wait time. Great experience with this company! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. I appreciated their work so much because I was getting solar panels installed for my mother and there had so much patience and kindness towards her when explaining what was going to happen and what they were going to do as far as the installation. Very friendly people and will most definitely be sharing my experience with them with anyone looking for solar panel needs. I m so impressed with their professionalism and time management for their projects I was expecting the worst from them since I 've had several previous bad experiences with other companies and Semper Solaris really changed my mind as soon as I spoke to them. The entire process was seamless and it was very easy to work with Bob King. The monitoring is easy to use and informative. I could not be happier with the performance of my system. Went from $700/mo in summer with AC on daily to $10/Mo... I'm AMAZED and so thankful for Bob King and Semper Solaris!

Semper Solaris helped me get solar for my house. I had a lot of questions, but I felt Caesar answered them best for me, and he even told me things than no-one else had. I bought a roof and solar panels from Semper Solaris because I really felt that they would take care of me, but I never really expect things to go without a hitch. So I gotta give credit where credit is due. All the guys were great, from Caesar to the rest of the crew. I've had 3 other companies come talk to me, but I know so much more about solar and how it works and how it will work for me from Caesar L.'s presentation than anyone else. He was incredibly helpful and answered all of my questions. He showed me all my choices with purchasing and leasing the solar system. Everyone should have the opportunity to sit down with someone who actually helps.

When we moved into our new house, we knew we wanted solar. Brandon, estimated our likely usage and set us up with 20 panels in the hopes of offsetting 100% of our electric bill. Well, we just finished our first HOT summer and we are as pleased as ever! We ran our air conditioning non-stop from July-September and not only did our panels cover 100% of our usage, but it looks like we will be getting a check from Edison at the end of the year. It took probably about 2 months from the signing of our contract to the installation of our system. Semper installed our system quickly, and without any issues. Initially, right after installation, I noticed some silver conduit running along the side of a portion of our house. It wasn't awful or anything, but... when I told Brandon about it, Semper sent guys out right away to paint it to match the color of the house, so now it blends in perfectly. I cannot say enough good things about solar in general, and Semper. Thanks guys!
