Senate Termite and Pest Control

I have been a customer of Senate for many years. Initially, they took care of mice who were dwelling in my attic and replaced all of my insulation. The company has been providing preventative pest care and inspecting for continued freedom from the mice. The technicians are professional, thorough, and ready to answer my questions/concerns.

Richard from Senate Termite and Pest Control is an excellent technician. Prior to starting our quarterly treatment, he rang the doorbell and asked if I had any questions or concerns. Senate was extremely thorough on my raccoon in the attic issue. Each tech reported out to in a courteous, professional and thorough manner. They performed excellent cleanup after completion. I would hire them again. They took photos and did an inspection and minor repairs to insure pests could not enter my home.

Steven is a real pro and SO thorough. It was our second time to have him at the house and he was very meticulous checking not only the bait boxes and usual areas but went above and beyond by going into all the nooks and crannies behind bookcases and the dishwasher (we had a contractor onsite who moved it for us) which was a hugely overlooked area. He even went around outside under bushes to check around openings on our back porch and used the Great Stuff to plug all new holes that had been created by the mice. He even took the time to book another follow up appointment in two weeks to ensure no new activity occurs between now and then. He is very dedicated to helping us eradicate this infestation - and now we really do feel we are close to solving this problem that has plagued us for months. An absolute model inspector!

I didn’t need to use trapping that I hired them for. We were unable to find the entry point for the animal so we were still planning on setting the trap. As I was going through the attic carefully later I found the entry point and was able to secure it myself. It was an attic fan that had the screen pushed in by the raccoon. The company was responsive and was ready to install a trap the same day to help make sure we didnt lose another night of sleep. Here is a photo of the pushed in screen in the attic fan. I simply put a galvanized screen behind the fan and secured it with a staple gun.

Van Dozier from Senate Pest came to my door and introduced himself before our quarterly service. We have had Senate for a few years now, but I had never met Van. He explained what services he was going to do during his visit, and then asked if I had any questions or concerns. I let Van know about a dead mouse I had seen near the foundation of my home, and he assured me this was because the traps were working as they should be. He then went around the whole exterior of the house and treated all cracks and crevices with spray, and applied a granular barrier around the house as well. He also brushed away all the spider webs on the front porch, and around all of our windows. Afterwards, Van came back to the door to let me know he had completed the service, and to thank me for my business. Great experience!

Donald shows up precisely when he is scheduled to arrive. He is pleasant, requests and listens to concerns and does a thorough job. My house is pest free as a result. I enthusiastically recommend Senate and Donald.
