Sensible Heating and Cooling

We had our York system installed by another company in May 2020. In the late fall when we needed the heater it was not clicking on and we were not getting heat. We called the owner/installer who came out and said it was a problem with the gas pressure and there was nothing he could do. He was asked how we could fix this problem and he gave no solutions. This problem again happened this winter and this time I decided to call a York certified company. I contacted Sensible Heating and Cooling who had a tech out the very next day. The tech, Eric, arrived and immediately show/explained our problem and gave us a way to fix it. Eric advised us to contact Xcel Energy and have the gas pressure turned up to a stronger flow. We did this but things still seemed a little off, so I contacted the company again and they had Eric out the very next morning. This time Eric again went through the system even more since the pressure was right and he found just two small problems that need to be adjusted and now the system works like it should. This company from the first contact to the end was nothing but professional. Their Tech Eric also was professional, willing to share his knowledge and to show us exactly what was wrong and how he fixed it. He explained how the furnace worked and what to look for if any problems arise in the future. In closing, I would highly recommend Sensible Heating and Cooling and their Tech Eric for any heating and cooling problems. There's not a more honest, trustworthy company in my opinion.

Very pleased with this company. The techs I've seen know what they are doing and have the rest of their team to consult with when necessary. These folks care about looking after you and your home.

Our very old heating system & hot water heater started leaking carbon monoxide and we had to get it replaced just recently. The old system was a water heater which also was used to heat the house. After getting several quotes, I chose Sensible Heating and Cooling, not because it was the best price, but because I really felt that Phil, who did the estimate, really took his time in looking over our home to decide what we needed, and to get us the best system for the money. We ended up scrapping the old system, and getting a new high efficiency furnace and hot water heater. Phil sent over a crew soon after we got the estimate, on a Friday morning. He said it would probably take 2 days, which would have left us a weekend without heat or hot water. However, the guys who came, Aaron Dagnar and Walter, worked quickly and so efficiently throughout the day that we had both heat and hot water before 5:30. Not only were they just awesome at getting the job done fast, but all of them were extremely friendly. They were very informative, and kept me updated on what was going on, and any changes to our home which would need to be made. So tonight I'm sitting in a toasty home after a few days without heat, thanks to the people of Sensible Heating and Cooling. Highly recommend!

They diagnosed our problem quickly. They were efficient is ordering the correct supplies and fixed in a timely fashion. Very courteous. Would recommend.

Really knew what he was doing. Had all the right equipment to evaluate and repair a geothermal system. Quickly diagnosed the problem and got our cooling system up and running in no time. Highly recommended.

They came out the same morning and quickly diagnosed the problem in my geothermal system. Dan explained the problem, fixed it, and did some preventive work too. He did an excellent job of explaining to me what the problem was and what I should watch for in the future.
