"Agreed upon an initial quote to paint/varnish a few bedrooms. Took 2 hours at no charge to homeowner to attend Home Depo to assist with transportation of materials. Following the second day on the job, homeowner decided she did not like the color of the paint after completion and wanted it repainted at no extra charge (which would take more time). Other issues at the job site came up such as cracks, caulking baseboards, ect...Our company was willing to adjust the quote to fix add on's, but needed to write a new invoice due to an increase of cost. Homeowner became upset with the contractor asking questions before proceeding to fix add-ons that were not predesignated. Homeowner became disrespectful making continuous comments towards employees making it a hostile work environment. The two employees voiced their concerns with homeowner and explained that a full-refund of non-finished work would be given if agreed upon due to circumstances. Both parties were in agreement and parted ways. Our company stands by providing the best customer service and detailed work, however we will not tolerate having our employees work in a hostile environment. We apologize that you felt unsatisfied with our performance, however we must protect our employees as well."
