5+ STAR SERVICE!!! Our A/C went out at 10pm and I made one phone call to Service Star they diagnosed the issue over the phone and told me what I needed to do in order to have our unit run efficiently overnight. Our coil was leaking and unit was frozen. Since our unit was 10 years old we opted to replace the entire unit including exterior and interior with new WiFi digital thermostat. They walked us through the most energy efficient option for our home. They came out early today and installed the new unit! Talk about SERVICE! WOW! The unit was installed in under 4 hours and my house began cooling instantly. WHAT a difference this unit makes and we are super impressed with how quite it is. We are THRILLED! THANK YOU SERVICE STAR!

I called Service Star and they came out same day. Our service technician, Francisco, was very professional and knowledgeable and had our system fixed within a half an hour. I couldn t be happier with the service I received, and I would recommend them to anyone who needs to have their a/c repaired. I plan on having Service Star service our unit yearly.

Less than 2 years ago we replaced all 3 AC units for my home totaling over $17,000 with Service Star Air Conditioning and Heating. Since then I have had to call Service Star out no less than 8 times. That is more than in the 15 years we owned this house prior to replacing all 3 units I could write a book with the excuses and stories I have heard from technicians, and salesman, and supervisors. I have caught them telling bald-faced lies on at least 4 occasions. The culture of dishonesty in this company is disgusting, however, there are some employees that are good people. I guess $17,000 was not enough revenue, the estimates from the recommended repairs would have exceeded another $6500. Not one of which was needed. Two of the three units stopped blowing cold air AGAIN this weekend and my wife called them out again, she thought it may have been covered by warranty. The technician at my house yesterday informed us we needed a complete freon recharge ($1350) on one unit and he recommended replacing the compressor ($2000) on the other. This is about the time I joined the conversation. Why in the world should we have to replace a compressor on a unit that is less than 2 years old? I asked. I truly did not listen to the line of bull that was streaming from his mouth because as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow morning every word emanating from his mouth was a bald-faced lie. Fast Forward to today, the complete recharge that was going to cost us $1350 was miraculously remedied with less than 2lbs of Freon and less than $100. I can understand good companies at times make bad hires. This company has a culture of dishonesty. Unfortunately, I found them thru HomeAdvisor. My goal is to inform the public to stay far away from these people.

I would not attack or what I would consider criticize as I define the word. My review would only be to share the facts of my experience which I am uncomfortable in doing.

This is our first time using this company and we highly recommend them. The service tech that came was Louis R. a very very nice professional man. He was very honest and very fair. Pointed out a slight problem that can be addressed in the future but no high pressure. We will be sure to hire them if needed in the future.

Work was done the next morning (Sunday), arrived in time, trouble shot the system and installed a new capacitor. A/C is working fine. IT'S HARD TO FIND HONEST PEOPLE LIKE THIS ANYMORE!!! Without question I would recommend this company.

The original problem with my A.C was it suddenly shut down and stopped providing cool air. The technician who came to my house was easy to talk to and explained it required a hard start to get it going again. He installed the hard start kit and the A/C started to run again right of the bat. A couple of days later I had to call the technician back in a because I noticed the A/C was leaking water. When I spoke to the technician on the phone to tell him the problem he told me he had checked the drain line to make sure it was not clogged with dirt and couldn't understand why I was having the problem. He told me he would come the next day to check it out but did not show up. When I called again to find out why he didn't show, he apologized and said he was not in the area but set up another day and assured me he would keep the appointment. He did show up as promised, but it was a long process to get the problem resolved.
