Overall kind and courteous. They should up quickly to do the work. It was a 75 ft long rock wall that was about 6 inches to 2 feet high with about 1 ft to 2 feet down in the ground. My wife did the final walkthrough because I was at work. Unfortunately the cement that they had mixed had way to much sand. It crumbles at the touch of your hand or using a regular old stick. A few of the rocks at the top popped out with a minor tug 1 week after the job was completed. Upon contacted the foreman Eddie he didn't take any accountability. I think it's easier to read his text. I told him I was going to have another crew fix it for 2ooo $ to regrout and stain the cement because there is quite a bit of cement showing instead of rocks. The new crew waa all in agreement that there was too much sand. When you hold the cement in your hand you can crush it and it turns back to particled sand. I also don't think it's fair to put the blame on my wife because she doesn't know any better about his kind of thing. I also disagree that because the job is budgeted doesn't mean that you skimp on the cement. Without good cement what's the point? It's just going to fall apart at some time. I told him the new guys were going to fix it and that he could come by just to see that I was telling the truth but he declined. Anyways, they wanted to do another rock wall in front of my house and the driveway because they were looking for work and I'm glad I didn't go with them for that. They were much bigger projects. Overall kind, but I had to pay twice for this rock wall.
