He is not dependable, hired him in August of 2018, we had a contract and he was paid. His son was showing up when i was out the town, taking 5 or six days at the time, they wanted more money and noting was done. I asked for my floors to be finished and never happen. The roof was leaking and i had to correct all of the work. Looking for refund.

Excellent carpentry work, Plumbing and rebuilding wall design please ask for some pictures and get references for plumbing. Plumbing skills are questionable.

Nasty,nasty dishonest

The project was completed but lots of issues with work having to be redone. Door still doesn't open and close properly. Didn't show up when scheduled and took 4 days instead of the 1 1/2 as projected.

Mr. Turner came to my home on the 1st and we discussed what I wanted done. His workers came the 6th of February and did a great job and cleaned up when they were through. I would call them if I ever needed them again.

They completed several projects for me: painting, installing dryer vent and dishwasher and re glazing the tub. They were personable, and eager to help us get the job done. They offered insight to help the project along. Great customer service, communication and a very fair price!

Earnest Turner had to be checked up on all the time. He said he would be there one day, then said either the tenant or he had to reschedule. He had to come back and fix problems he supposedly had fixed three times. A window, an electrical outlet, and a problem in the electrical box, which was just putting in a strip where there was no breakers. He did not know what was required for the last one, and he said an electrician told him you could just put tape over the opening. Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) disagreed. He told me electric box problem was repaired. I emailed NRHA the next day in the morning, saying the problem was repaired and they could come out and check the repairs. They said they would be out by 1-2 P.M. that day. I went to the property at 11:30 A.M. that day and checked on something else. Then I checked on the electrical box problem, and there was a different type of tape on there, not the piece that was required. I called him immediately and told him he lied to me. He said his worker who did the job said it was complete, but the guy did not know how or what was needed for the repair. This guy that attempted to make the repair has no talent or ability at all, and is probably more of a laborer. The contractor said he was coming over to the property now with the right parts and would fix it. I told him he lied to me and I was very unhappy. I told him the laborer guy should be fired for lying. The contractor was always trying to get paid immediately. He would even come to my house for a check. It was not easy to get an invoice from him. The contractor had no business sense, and never had any reserve funds. He always had an excuse. I would not recommend him at all. He said I would be satisified with his work. I am not.

I hired Earnest for a couple jobs previously, he did a good job for the most part so I hired him to repair fascia on my home and I gave him money on Feb. 27, 2019 and he said he would be back that day, he never came back to start the job and when I called him he would give an excuse then set another date but never shows; this happened 5 times. I asked for my money back after this lying went on. It took another 2 weeks of unanswered calls, then lastly on a meet him at various locations chase only to receive my money in parts.

The work they did was exceptional.

Owner Mr. Turner was prompt and courteous, answered all my questions, and gave me an excellent quote. The work was started on time and finished early. His team was so professional and work was of excellentt quality. They cleaned and repaired my gutters, cleaned the the outside of the house, and painted doors and shutters. I am so happy with the way they made my house look!

They were very open to listening to what we wanted done as well as providing expert advice. They did a very good job overall. They cleaned every area they worked in prior to leaving.

Completed the job within a day of contact. Prior to starting the job, did not mind going to Home Depot to purchase necessary materials to compete the job

Sent out the word on HA on a Sunday morning, not expecting any reply until Monday, but Mr Turner called me within 2 minutes and he and his crew came out that day. Multiple projects but they completed 90% by 10 that evening. Will hire again for other projects as they arise. Laurentz P in VA Beach

This “business” needs to be removed from the listing. They are con artists. Please please please don’t do business with them. They will try every way to rip u off and when it happens don’t say I didn’t warn you. Also super unprofessional.

Showed up with 3 helpers but only one was able to work. Poor quality of finish plaster.
