Mohammad and his crew recently completed a renovation on our 1920's wood frame house in Brooklyn. The work done included removing the back of the house, replacing 3 windows, two doors, re-insulating and putting on new aluminum siding. They also completely re-did our back patio, laying down new cement and new wood stairs. Indoors they replaced our old pine floors on the first and second floors, as well as repainting the entire interior (all while most of our furniture remained in the house!) It was a fairly big job. In general, we highly recommend Mohammad and Shaara Contracting. The work they did was professional and of high quality. If something wasn't done correctly or we were unhappy with a result, they were more than happy to re-do the work. Honorable is the word the comes to mind... Mohammad was reliable, trustworthy and did exactly what he said he'd do at the price he'd quoted us, which we felt was entirely reasonable. He was also very responsive to our calls, texts, etc., always making himself available for a visit to the house, etc. We are quite pleased with how all the work turned out and recommend Mohammad and Shaara Contracting without reservation.

The work was excellent quality and they are willing to work with you on cost and timing. The work was done on schedule. I would definitely hire them again for other work I may need in the future

Shaara Contracting was very helpful with an urgent problem after a disastrous cheapie repair attempt by a useless, vanishing handyman (not from Home Advisor), my crumbling old front door was literally falling off the hinges so I needed it replaced ASAP” within in a week of calling Shaara I now have a beautiful new front door (wish I could post a picture of how terrific it looks), it's nicely installed and working perfectly! Mohammad brought a hardworking, polite crew of three, supervised them closely, stayed late to finish and cleaned up responsibly. Overall I am very pleased with the results and would use them again. A few days later I noticed a very minor issue, with the paint and the trim - I called him and he came right back to fix it!

Shaara contracting is very professional did great work in a timely manner. The owner and his workers were exceptional and cleaned up everything. I highly recommend them and will work with them again. I am lucky to have found a good reliable honest business. They are hard working and aim to please. I was extremely satisfied. One happy customer!!!

Exceptional customer service, polite, punctual and very respectful of both my home and us. Provided exactly the work requested and provided a contract detailing the work and cost. Also, most importantly, wasn't pushy to do the work and willing to answer any and every question.

Incredibly polite with our tenants and myself sent us everything we asked for including pictures of business license and signed contracts. Sent us pictures of the finished project and kept on top of everything, and our tenant was so impressed they called and thanked the US! Mohamad Islam was very nice and his office staff was very efficient. So happy I found them through HomeAdvisor, it is so hard to trust anyone out of State and I felt very comfortable with HomeAdvisor also, I called them to check how they vetted their contractors and was comforted.

Created a door for an arched doorway, turned out beautifully. Mohammad went above and beyond, highly recommended.

The contractor was very punctual and precise in the estimate. The crew showed up on time a did an excellent job. I already recommended them to friends.
