He actually even started doing the work that day, was quick, Efficient and had everything done, I mean, really quickly, was I had them actually do other things He poured a cement patio for me. He's doing my deck right now. He ended up doing my neighbor's Trees. I mean, he has been amazing. So great, great guy, and just a complete Overall, I mean, really good with the whole service. He's getting ready to do mulch for me. So he's done a really good job; his whole team has been great.

Denny Parker of Shadyside Landscaping arrived at my house within an hour of my posted request. We negotiated verbally that he and his companion worker would clean away pine needles and grass debris from a triangular wooded area behind my house, delineated by two parallel fences and two long fallen branches that connected them. At first, he quoted an outlandishly high price, which would have included debris haul-away. We eventually decided that they would use blowers only and blow the debris beyond the fallen logs, but not leave any heaps, and would spread the debris beyond the branched boundary. I specified that I didn't want him blowing debris onto the neighbor's fence either. He said they would do a good job and would take only 1 hour, and could do it immediately for a hefty fee of $500. I accepted that, and we shook hands. After they began, I saw that he had started towards the middle of the triangular area, several feet from the fence. I got his attention and directed him towards the outer boundary agreed upon, but not even up to the fence. This was the beginning of our dispute. He pointed vaguely to trees that he said were the boundary within which he would work and said that to do more than that would cost at least $1,000. I disagreed and reminded him of the indicated property line. He paced and gesticulated angrily to different trees, changing the boundaries of the area to be cleared. Denny interrupted his co-worker and ordered him to move forward from his position toward the middle rather than the other edge of the boundary where he had begun. I objected that he was further reducing the work area, but Denny became more belligerent. The worker looked doubtful but cowered and obeyed. At this point, because they had already worked for about 10 minutes, I felt that the only thing I could do was urge them to finish the job. The co-worker stopped his blower and approached us. I asked them both to be reasonable and clear at least a few feet back. Denny said he'd only do what I was asking if the price went up to $750. I said that was dishonest and unfair, but I offered to settle on $600 if he at least continued, to clear the smaller triangular area inside the perimeter. Denny refused. I turned to his co-worker and began pleading with him, saying this was not right, and asked him to do the right thing. His partner looked embarrassed and said, OK. $600 and give us a nice tip, and immediately recommenced the work. He blew another small patch of debris, heaping it against the back perimeter log. Denny shouted for the co-worker to stop: I am the boss! Denny ordered him to put the blower back in the truck. I said, No. You said you would do this whole area and that it would take one hour. You haven't even been working for fifteen minutes! I said that what he was doing was not right and that he was dishonest. He flailed his arms furiously, shouting, You called me a liar! I am not a liar, you are. He began using abusive language, and I backed away. As an elderly woman, I was intimidated and just wanted him to leave. I went inside and got my checkbook. I came back out shaking. I asked him to remind me of the company name. He told me to write the check to his name, Denny Parker. I made it out for $600. He kept mumbling insults, so I told him, That's alright. I will be writing a bad review. I don't care. I don't need your *%^ review! I've got plenty of good reviews. He again began hurling insults. I said, Just leave. Get out. Leave my property. My heart was pounding. He walked away with the check, calling me a f*ing b**; I went inside and locked my door.

Back woods was saturated with poison ivy. Crew called immediately after my request and came out the next day. Professional, courteous, and worth every penny.

Donnie and team were excellent in removing shrubs and weed and trimming our tree. Exceptional work in my opinion.

Shadyside Landscaping was great to work with. Donny came out first thing in the morning to assess the job and provide an estimate. His crew came out later that morning and completed the job. I was amazed how quickly and efficiently they did the work. Definitely surpassed my expectations.

Customer Service was fine

The guys did a great job and cleaned up after they finished. Not a big job but done right and quick.
