This company was to manicure and clean up lot for presentation for house to be sold. Time was an issue and Shambre was the only co. that could come within our time frame, so we chose them. We were shocked by the quote presented to us of $4,644.00 for a normal size corner lot. We had not yet got other quotes returned from the other companies that we inquired to. Thinking that we just did not realize what this service should cost, we gave Shambre the consent to do the job, since they could start in only a few days, stating that the job would take 3 days to complete. They worked 2 days on the yard and came to us stating that they were finished. I walked the yard for inspection, only to find that the flower beds were not all edged, my hosta bed was destroyed {which I witnessed} by a weed whacker, the pavers on the patio still had moss growing on them, and the whole backyard was not trimmed or weeded. Needless to say the raised flower beds were not trimmed, weeds and stray upgrowing tree seedling had not been removed from the back wooded area of the lot where ground cover was growing. I had to point out what needed to be removed from the ground cover area pointing to each sapling and weeds. The stone and brick edges of this area were not edged or cleaned. Some of the plants were just whacked off and covered with mulch. when asked why they didn't dig out these plants, the reply was, " when they come back up, you can just whack them off again". They showed up when they said they would. They also did what i wanted. has a good eye for detail and work quality was very good. Overall i would recomment to whoever needs work done.

Jake was great to work with and was always willing to explain what he was doing and why. He was great from the time he came and qouted the job until he finished. Be did a great rebuild of our retaining wall. Would recommend him to anyone. Price was resable along same line of competitors.

Jake is so more than just a provider of the annual services I ask for, such as garden bed mulching and preparation, gutter cleaning, lawn service and yard clean-up. He also has installed a brick pavered patio with a fire pit in which we are absolutely thrilled with.. He is a wonderful young man with great work ethics, and he is also very polite, quick and efficient. He is so much more than my Landscape Technician... I consider him to be a Landscape Architect!
