The customer service and the technician was terrible and unprofessional. The technician placed the gas blower inside our fireplace incorrectly the first time and requested the final payment. I refused to pay him because the blower did not work. He contacted the company wires was old he assembled it incorrectly. He tried it a second time and the blower was running but no heat produced. It also had a loud sound. The technician said he was new at installation, and He could not figure the problem out. We requested another technician from the company to come out to see why a brand-new blower wasn't working and making noise. The next day, I contacted the customer service rep. I was told the technician said the blower was working and the case was closed. They said for us to keep the blower and refused to return our initial deposit in the amount of $600. I will never use this company again. I will be perusing this matter further.

Schdule them quickly. They do good work, so they're in high demand. They do commerical work as well.

Was gonna charge 1500 way off from the original price. Got it down to 1,100 still off. Did not complete the job been going on 3 weeks now probably wont get them out and they have been severely dodging a time or day to get out and get over here. Only been excuses after excuse. Do not hire them. You will be down money and still have issues with your house

They did a good job but the cost was high. They were on time and it didn't take very long to complete the work.

Shamrock chimney sweep from Portland ME came out twice. The first time they could not get on the roof do to snow. They cleaned the pipe from the bottom and left dirt and ash everywhere. The second time they came out the Manager did not have any protection for the hearth and got black soot from his hands all over the hearth. When asked to cover it he said he did not carry anything on the truck to protect the inside of the house. He stated if I did not want to cover it myself I could hire someone else to do the work. I called the office and was told the manager was the person I was talking to. Shamrock should be removed from Angi.

They contacted me very quickly which I was very amazed. The tech called me the day before my appointment to ask if he could come a day early. Unfortunately I wouldn't be home. My appointment was for the next day between 1-4. At 3:39 I text asking if they were still coming. At 3:50 I got a call saying that the tech was running late but should be at my home by 4:30. I was happy with the quick response. However 4:30 came around and no one showed. We waited for 2.5 hrs for some one to show up at 7:15 to assess our roof in the dark. Jacob and his helper were nice and explained what the problem most likely was. They fixed it in about an hour and a half. Unfortunately, the next time it rained, my chimney started leaking again. I've currently messaged them regarding the fix that didn't work but haven't heard back yet.

We couldnâ t find anyone local to install a chimney, so went with Shamrock, who had a crew working locally, although they were based 2 hrs away. They came sooner than expected, did the job beautifully, and have been easy to contact with any questions we had. Very pleased with the whole project.

They were interested in saving me money and my safety at the same time.
