Shamrock Maintenance Corp.

Don't waste your time. They cancelled my first appointment 30 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive. I understand that things happen so I rescheduled, they didn't have any openings for 2 weeks, so I rescheduled 2 weeks out. Once again, day of they tell me they are running late for the time slot 12-3pm. At 3:30pm I check in and they can't tell me when the technician will be arriving. 4pm comes and goes without an update and I told them I'm hiring someone else. Ridiculous how many emails, texts and calls they send you trying to get your business but once you schedule with them the customer service is terrible. All they are trying to do is keep business away from competitors by overbooking beyond what they can handle. This company is a joke.

Very professional got there and got the job done in a timely fashion

They were very professional and efficient in completing the job in a cost effective manner.

Shamrock Chimney completed a repair on our chimney and the whole experience was excellent. They diagnosed the problem quickly, explained the repair options, and completed the work efficiently. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful of our home. Everything was left clean when they finished. Highly recommend their services.

The BBB rating for Shamrock is "F" which is their lowest rating; businesses with "F" ratings have unanswered or unresolved complaints that reflects a failure by the business (Shamrock) to deal with the causes of customer problems. I contacted the MA District Attorney's office who put me in touch with consumer advocate Deb Henderson to resolve my issue with Shamrock. She said that she spoke to the owner Carmelo Franco about my issue and said that Franco is uncooperative, therefore we are unable to proceed. I sued Carmelo Franco in Attleboro District Court for negligent work that had to be fixed by another company ($650.00), however the subpoena could not be delivered to the address the DA's office gave me, so the court dropped the lawsuit. You need the correct address of the defendant in order for the court to compel him to come to court, so Carmelo Franco is just a ghost that you will never be reimbursed by. Franco's Shamrock Chimney is a scam. Bruce Smith, Attleboro MA

They were very good! Price was good. May contact again!

4/5

Unprofessional staff, the workmanship was sloppy and undefined. They took the payment and have not returned, calls or email. Cancelled three times ti come back and fix it. Do Not Hire This Company!!!!

Great!

On 10.23.23 I hired Shamrock Chimney, address, 3 Mountain St. E, Worcester, MA, 01606, telephone: 508.433.0609, to clean my chimney; upon inspection of the chimney, I was told that the cement crown was damaged and needed replacement, as well as resetting loose bricks at the top of the chimney. The total cost for this work was $1,500.00. This work came with a Lifetime warranty on the 2 steel rain caps, and a 5-year warranty on the masonry. On Feb. 10, 2024, I called Shamrock Chimney and told them that the caps were moving out of place on top of the chimney, tilting as they might be ready to fall off. I told Shamrock's representative that I was fearful that the caps could fall down damaging my roof and cars, or injuring someone walking into my house on the walkway below. Shamrock told me that someone would be out to ensure that the caps were properly secured - however no one from Shamrock came out. After nearly 2 months with no response from Shamrock, on April 4, 2024, I called Shamrock

Shamrock came out, inspected, cleaned, and gave advice on correcting a problem. Than corrected the problem. We were treated in a friendly and professional manner. You can’t ask for better than that.

Had my fireplace cleaned on Sept 5. Went to light it on Sept 6, damper was closed and would not open, house filled with smoke. Called to complain, was told that someone could come out 6 days later. I hired another company to come. They came right away, damper was stuck with all debris from chimney. So you tell me if the original people did there job. I don't think so. When I called to speak to the owner, I was told that I couldn't. This was by their arrogant service dept.

I do not recomend them

Excellent and thorough

The crew did a satisfactory job, but the price is questionable.

Amazing customer service. Very responsive. They had my two chimneys re-pointed, capped and sealed in about 5hrs. My chimneys were in terrible shape, lots of loose bricks, leaks etc. The transformation was incredibly. They also included a 10 yr warranty on all their work. Super satisfied. My neighbor was also amazed by the work and will be reaching out them. Highly recommend.

Excellent work and great experience

Great job

Jacob was amazing!!!!!!! He worked so hard and was so professional and polite through the entire project. I would hire him one hundred times over!!!!

Unreportable unprofessional extremely customer relations, extremely over charge and under delivered

Joe was awesome! We called for 2 fluews to be cleaned and inspected, came with in 2 days! He recommended a chimney cap as the other flew had one so we had him install it. Great service, gave us some pictures before and after, it was fast and friendly service! Definitely will recommend! Price was very reasonable as well! Joe needs a raise for sure! Hard to find great help, Glad we got him! Thank you!

Shamrock should call themselves Scamrock, they are the worst, they were supposed to fix a leak coming down my chimney, gave me a quote for $900 to fix plus a lifetime warranty and the water still comes down the chimney, every time I call they claim they are backed up but they were not backed up when they gave me an appointment almost right away. Stay away from these ppl they are crooks and do not call back despite saying they will. Worst company to hire. Stay away. You have been warned

They were quick to come, they had a good price, but I have damages to my attic over the cost of the work and they will not admit their error or negligence. I have given them any opportunity to resolve it but the contractor is not being responsive.
