We hired Shamrock Chimney for a chimney inspection and were very impressed with how thorough they were. The technician took the time to inspect everything and explained the condition of the chimney in a way that was easy to understand. We received a detailed report with photos which was very helpful. Honest company and very professional.

Our chimney had crystalline deposits. Shamrock diagnosed efflorescence and fixed the water issues.

I wasn’t sure what to expect since this was my first chimney service, but Shamrock Chimney made the whole process stress-free. The tech was friendly, respectful of my home, and cleaned up everything before leaving. It’s nice to find a company that takes pride in their work.

Had an issue with poor draft and thought it might be something serious. Shamrock Chimney diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it without making it complicated. They explained what caused it and how to avoid it in the future. That kind of honesty goes a long way.

The technician was eight hours late. It was 7 p.m. when he and a helper arrived. Neither one had any idea how to clean my wood stove. They dismantled it, including tearing down the catalytic converter. They lost bolts. When they were "done," they put stuff back in without bolts and all the catalytic plates fell out. The stove is now unusable in the dead of winter. The parts will cost $1200 plus a service call from a qualified technician, which is almost impossible to get without booking a month in advance in this weather. This order will cost me $2,000 at the rate it is going. This is a horrible company. Will not return calls or address damage. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. I don't care if a veteran owns it, they do awful work, are ignorant and have no respect for customers or their property.

We had Shamrock Chimney come out to look at our 27-year-old gas fireplace. We couldn't get the pilot light to light. They sent 2 guys that didn't seem to know what they were doing. The first thing the lead guy said was that he would have to replace the whole ignition system for $1,500. He hadn't even tried to light the pilot light yet! My husband had to tell him that he had turned the gas off (the guy didn't look) and would he at least try to manually light the pilot light, which he then did, and it wouldn't stay lit. At one point, my husband asked if he wanted the owner's manual. He did. They put the glass back on the front, charged us $150 and left. We called the office to complain about the incompetence. The woman said, well they cleaned it. No they didn't! She offered to send another technician out. Nope, we're done with Shamrock!

They were both good guys, but did not cover their boots or carpet when they were cleaning. They need a better vacuum to help get everything clean afterwards. Otherwise they did a great job.

40 miles away - would not give an estimate and were unable to cancel appointmemnt

Hired them to repair leaking chimney. They installed $4500 liner that their employee, Patrick, said would stop leak. It didn't. We won a $4500 (plus costs) small claims judgement in CT which they have not acknowledged. They are located in Patchogue, NY, and service Connecticut also. Stay away from this company!

Stay away from this company. I hired them to perform brick pointing and install a chimney cap. They were so sloppy they spilled cement all over my roof and patio stone. They did not protect my property with any tarps. This is an image of the chimney cap that had been installed. They did not use the correct size and filled in the opening with roofing shingles. I discovered this when flying a drone to take a closer look. When contacting them to repair, they keep rescheduling. No regard for your property at all. You have been warned.

If I could leave a zero star review I would. They are a complete scam!!! Check BBB before going with this company. They damaged our brick and charged our credit card without permission. Run far away from this company! Horrible company!!!!

Shamrock Chimney was the best company I ever dealt with installing my chimney and liner. Very professional they explained everything detail by detail. They were also very clean with getting rid of the old chimney. I highly recommend Shamrock Chimney.

Do Not Hire this SC**M Bag Company, They Ripped me off for 1000K , SAID HE WOULD SEE ME IN COURT IN 7 Years , did not want to refund ANYTHING Complete Liar in a bait and switch operation ! Research on BBB if you don't believe me !

Justin and Kevin did a great job repairing the chimney and installing a liner. Quick thorough service and easy scheduling as well. From start to finish they were great.

Work was beautifully done. The chimney was ground and repointed from the flashing up; Flashing was sealed to the roof to stop water penetration; a new stainless steel cap was installed 20 3/8 x 45 1/4; waterproof masonry with a 10-year warranty. I had several other estimates and none of them came close to this. The price was very reasonable. If there is a way to upload a file larger that 5MB, I have one I would like to have published.

They did not do the job property and need to back to fix it or give our money back to pay someone else to fix it.
