I would recommend this business. The workers were prompt and courteous. They did a great job of the roofing itself and met all of Berkeley's specific fire related code requirements to pass the building inspections. While not the cheapest, they were also not the most expensive installers. Each day, they would clear up the mess, and at the end, they cleaned up very well.

Our roofing project started back in May 2024 when one of my elderly friends received a letter from his insurance company saying he must replace his roof because of its age or else they will cancel his policy. So, the search for a licensed roofer began. We contacted about 10 companies. The prices and service are all over the place. Things we liked about Shamrock Roofing: 1) Donnacha - our project manager - came to the house and went on the roof to take measurements and figure out how much damage he can expect by how the roof felt as he walked on it. Soft roof is a bad sign. 2) Donnacha climbed into the attic to look at the roof from the inside to asses how much damage has happened to the roof trusses and other components from leaks over the years. 3) After he took the measurements, he sent us a proposal that was broken down into 3 projects. That was how we wanted it because we had extra repairs we needed but it was broken down to make it easier to understand. It took us several months for my friend to arrange for the financing of the roof. Once we got that in order, we called them up and they arranged to have their crew come and fix our roof. Was everything perfect? Of course not. There was a delay with the permits. They were supposed to clean up every day but they left some debris behind at the end of the project. There was a little confusion about one portion of the project. These are all expected with any large project. It's how they handled it that is most important. I texted the project manager Donnacha and he arranged to have someone come and pick up the debris and it was all cleaned up quickly. He also arranged to finish the small portion of the project on a Saturday to help us meet the insurance company deadline. Very professional.

Recently we had our condo roof replaced by Shamrock Roofing, Donnacha Donnelly specifically. As a PG&E expert logistical planner, I can safely say these guys executed the job at a top-tier standard . They worked around our budget given that the roof needed additional drainage systems to properly disperse water off the roof . Honestly I highly recommend these guys for any commercial roofing needs you have and Donnacha specifically for the way he managed the entire project . Big thanks to Donnacha, Eduardo and Mauricio for all the work they did, as well as explaining ongoing situations and finding a creative solution to our problem. Thank you Shamrock Roofing!
