Shapley Painting and Remodeling

George did an excellent job installing my new door unit.

Contractor started off doing a decent job, looked like he was experienced and knew what he was doing, then he started coming late, then missing appointments, 5 months later the job is still not done. I suggest you get a more reliable contractor to do your job and stay away from Shapley Painting. You will hear many valid and plausible reasons why but that does not get a job done, stay away.

George did a great job for me!

George did a great job very knowledgeable exceptional expertise fun to talk with new what he's doing best contract we had this year look forward to calling him again

He was very professional and did it in a timely manner.

Good service. Helped pickup the door from the store for us.

George did great work, and very co-operative. If there was something I questioned he immediately took care of it. He was having a problem with pain in his shoulder so it took him longer than we anticipated, but did not affect us. I would hire him for more projects. Cleaned everything when he was finished. I felt he was honest and fair priced. It looked as if George did a good job, but it has only been about 5 weeks and our cupboards are peeling. I called George and he said he would be over in a couple of days, have not heard from him and his phone mail is full. He has not contacted me since I called him 2 weeks ago. I need to change my review. Very disappointed.

Worked quickly and efficiently. Only drawback was a little lax on cleanup afterwords. otherwise work was perfect

Performed the job well, even painted additional surface for same price. I would recommend for your painting job.

He came out and quoted a door and the work. I paid the money for the door and he was to contact me when the door came in. After not hearing anything for 3 weeks i contacted him and he said the door had arrived damaged but that he was waiting on the replacement. Another 3 or 4 weeks go by and still had heard nothing. So i reach out to him again and this time he says he was having some serious heart issues and was waiting for his doctor to release him back to work. This gets dragged out for a couple of months and then he says he was released to go back to work on the 22nd of May. I do not hear from him and so on the 27th of May i reach out to him and do not hear back. So I hit him up on Home advisor site to say if i don't hear from him by the 3rd of June that i would need to ask for a refund. Still i hear nothing from him so I go to Paypal to get the cost of the door refunded. They said they would need to contact him for his side of the story, Not sure what came of that other than the fact PayPal refunded me the money. But now i have floor damage from water getting in where my old door was falling apart. I contracted him in January and now in June i need to find someone else to install my door. I feel for him and his health issues but he should have either refunded the money or sub-contracted out the job a while back. I hope all is well with him health wise but still not happy about the situation.

Sloppy workmanship. Didnt bring tools for the job. Drove over my plants.

George called me right away. He was able to do my project promptly. He was on time, did a great job and was fair priced. He was very polite as well. I will be using him again for sure!

Our project is halfway through and George is wonderful.

George did a fantastic job. Completed the project on time with no mess!! Very courteous.

Mr. Shapely is a great "old school" painter who knows how to properly "lay on" paint with a brush. There aren't many like him anymore. He's also extremely clean and courteous in his work ethic. He completed the project I hired him for very satisfactorily and I plan to engage him again for another painting project. I think I've finally found a painter upon whom I can rely for the long term.

Exceptional service! They went above and beyond to help us out in a pinch. I would recommend this company to EVERYBODY.
