I moved from Edison, NJ to Woodbridge, NJ recently and decided to go with Sharp Van Lines. Honestly, I was expecting the usual moving-day stress, but the crew made the whole process feel surprisingly easy. They showed up on time, got straight to work, and were very careful with my furniture, especially a large dining table that I was worried might get scratched.
One thing I appreciated was that nobody seemed rushed. They took the time to wrap items properly and made sure everything was loaded securely. At the new place, they even helped rearrange a few pieces until I was happy with where they were placed.
By the end of the day, everything had arrived safely, nothing was damaged, and the move was completed faster than I expected. It's rare to find a moving company that combines professionalism with great customer service, but Sharp Van Lines did exactly that. I would definitely use them again for another move in New Jersey.

On the morning of the move they showed up an hour earlier which was fine. They started moving things once everything was loaded in the truck we are told how much they are charging us for them wrapping big items for transport which was fine we knew they had a packing fee. But then we are being told we have to pay for fuel, at the initial walk through weeks prior we were told we didn?t have to pay for fuel. They took the fuel charge off but then charged us $138 for tolls which was insane from CT to PA and then they took a hour lunch break and put it down as a extra hour of drive so we had to pay for 4 hours extra. Our final number increased by $1000 dollars, we knew the original number was just an estimate but for the final number to increase by $1000 is insane.

There was an initial delay of 30 minutes. The three workers performed their tasks professionally; however, their manager imposed excessive charges for materials, including additional duct tapes that were not used, a $30 fuel charge for a short distance, and a $35 toll, among other unreasonable fees. Due to these unexpected costs, I was unable to tip the workers as generously as I had originally planned. I would not recommend this service, as I believe there are better alternatives with more reasonable pricing. Additionally, I was informed at the time of booking that the final payment would be due after the work was completed and all belongings were unloaded at the new location. However, I was charged at the destination before my items were unloaded.
