Owner Rob is an outstanding contractor. His work is careful, high quality and complete. He built a free-standing island cabinet for my kitchen project and matched its color perfectly to my existing cabinets! He is a first class cabinet maker! He closely checks the workmanship of his sub-contractors and would not accept their work until he and I agreed that the quality and accuracy met both of our expectations. Rob goes above and beyond to ensure that, when the client's living area is disrupted (e.g., counter surfaces have been removed awaiting replacement) he puts temporary accommodations so that the client's family is not without adequate surfaces for daily necessities. He is always prompt coming to the worksite and returning phone calls the client might make to him during the length of the project. He remains focused on the client's current project(s), and offered valuable expertise in selecting our granite (for countertops) and wall tiles among materials that would look well together as we went shopping for them together. We purchased a Blanco kitchen sink for our project; Rob discovered that our standard garbage disposer wasn't fitting snugly to the sink opening. So he sought telephonic advice from Blanco's technician who helped Rob make the attachment appropriately. And both he and his sub-contractors are extremely clean, leaving each evening as clean as when they arrived in the morning. We have "certified" Shepherd's Construction as a top notch contractor that won't let a client down!

His attention to detail is 2nd to none. He is really good at making sure that everything is done correctly. He doesn't cut corners. He is always on time and prompt. He is one of the better contractors that I've hired.
