James is a straight shooter with a good sense of humor. He quickly installed a new kitchen sink faucet and a new toilet he picked up for us. He came out and gave a free estimate before any of the work was done, and he was very fair with pricing. Glad we listened to our friends with this recommendation.

He came to our house on a weekend, from being fishing and gave us our home back; which was almost unlivable. Recognized that we had multiple problems and got us in contact with a septic pumping company. Knowledgeable about his trade and reasonable with his prices.

Came to our rescue on a Saturday morning when sewage backed up into our basement due to a clog. Plus was very kind to our overly vocal little dogs. For an unpleasant situation it was a pleasant experience getting it fixed. Thank you so much!

From the first time I talked to James on the phone I could tell that he was well-versed in the construction industry. He was courteous and prompt and when he diagnosed the problem he gave me an estimate and timeline that proved to be exact. He corrected the problem and rerouted a drain to correct the problem. When complete the price was less than the estimate! I've been a residential inspector for over 25 years and I appreciate his knowledge and efficiency and especially his concern for his customer. James arrived promptly then diagnosed and fixed my first problem correctly - slow drains backing up into grease trap and removing an old clogged house trap. Because of his persistence we later found that the sewer main to the city line was compromised (clogged and collapsed) by maple tree roots. He replaced the sewer main and now the house has full drainage. When you're restoring an old house, challenges are the norm, but finding quality and informed contractors can be its own challenge. James is honest, knowledgeable and takes pride in finding the problem and fixing it correctly. I would not hesitate to hire him again for any plumbing/ sewer issues.
