Shield roofing and masonry completed 2 foundation upgrade projects for me so far and I am happy to say that they are extremely professional and efficient as a company (office staff/on site crew/ inspector/owner) while also performing quality work. In a world where many good contractors are few and far in between, shield, roofing, and masonry stands out as one of the best at what they do. I will continue to work with them in the future as I trust they will always provide a quality product.

I would really recommend this company! My first interaction was with James , he me made feel secure about this project, he knew what he was doing and is a very nice person overall. He's also very responsive, any time I had a question he would answer. Overall i'd really recommend this company.

James came out to do an inspection on the foundation of the house we had put an offer on. He was thorough, honest, diligent and professional. He took his time explaining all of the issues he saw and ultimately saved us from buying a total money pit. We canâ t thank him enough! Great service and would highly recommend for foundation inspection.

I can not thank James, enough for coming out and reviewing with me. I was in quite a pickle not understanding what i needed to do to remediate my foundation and concrete issues that were leading to cascading problems throughout my older home. I have had to have some work done with contractors before and canâ t really say they were enjoyable hassle free experiences. This time was different and I was pleasantly surprised at the overall experience in a good way. James, provided excellent communication every step of the way from the time I scheduled an appointment to when he arrived. When was the last time someone showed up for you early or on time, I was blown away! James was extremely prepared with material sent prior and material provided during the initial appointment. The information provided was well prepared and broken down into chunks for me that were easy to understand and I could share with my wife, more important, she understood it! The time james took diligently inspecting and then walking and talking me through not just the problem area but taking time out to talk about how to be proactive and things I can do to prevent further problematic areas, james is a true professional that cares about not just the problem but you and your entire home. I am certainly not an expert in this area, and grateful James is. Highly recommended, James is the guy you want to help you to understand and remediate concrete/foundation issues that are visually concerning that you just donâ t understand. After getting ridiculously expensive quotes from a number of other contractors, shield roofing and masonry showed up, inspected my foundation, and wrote me a full but reasonably priced proposal for repairing a cracked/crumbling section on a 1920s bungalow. Communication was excellent throughout the process and the repair--difficult, dirty work--was quickly and expertly completed. Shield, roofing, masonry, even painted and re-paved the surrounding area, so it looked better than before. I was so relieved to have had both an affordable and professional experience!

We hired shield to install a french drain system, repair shotty concrete work, and to install/reroute a new sump pump. Before having this work done, we had a pretty significant amount of water leaking from cracks in the foundation - mostly through the shotty concrete repair patches. Now that the work is done, our sump pump expels excess water out to the street, rather than to our backyard. Our basement is as dry as a bone, and now that we have nice smooth concrete work and edges, we will be ready to install a nice epoxy floor in the spring. My wife and I would like to publicly express gratitude to james ,Patrick, Josh, Steve, and Kathy, although there were others who worked hard on this project.

I could not be more pleased with my experience with shield. It started with james coming out to my home on two different occasions, providing options and possibilities of what could be done for a water issue in my basement. He was attentive, kind and very professional. I was then able to get squeezed into the schedule after a cancellation with a few weeks. Ryan and Brian came out to my home to install a sump pump. They showed up when they were supposed to, explained the whole process of what they would be doing and were very efficient with their work. They did a fantastic job!. Everyone has been such a pleasure to work with and I could not recommend them more!

We have an old house from 1890 that had a leaky filed stone basement. I contacted james from shield roofing and masonry and he came out the following week to access the job. He gave us a quote right away and his pricing was reasonable. We tried to schedule the project to be completed on a weekend but sure enough it rained every weekend for over a month. Once the weather finally cleared, james and his crew started work right away and finished ahead of schedule. Not only is my basement now dry, it is also now free from the mildew smell. James and his crew were very professional and respectful of our time and property by keeping it clean throughout the project. We would definitely hire james and his crew again for future projects.

The shield team replaced my garage roof in one day ! I could not have asked for a better team to complete the work. They worked endlessly and repaired my roof and reshingled it, cleaned my gutters and reset my drain pipes and replaced a piece of siding. Completed all of this in one day and the clean up was spotless ! The team lead Peter kept me informed through the day on the progress and we had an exit meeting to be sure I was satisfied. Communication was excellent from the first inquiry and throughout. The crew was punctual, polite, clean and respectful. Everything was clean by the end of the day. James , the supervisor, was exceptionally responsive and attentive to questions and made an extra trip the next morning, at my request, to do an extra magnetic sweep for any leftover nails that may have been missed in the driveway. I am very satisfied with the quality and professionalism of the team. I highly recommend this company.

Due to the heavy weather, we had some water ingress in our basement. We called shield within the hour we had an estimate really pleased with the outcome. Thank you very much guys
