Shima's Welding Company

The guys on the crew do not have a clue of what they are doing. They show up around 10, take a two-hour lunch and leave by 230. That is if they show up at all. Our project was not even half done and they disappeared for 2 weeks. The pedestrian gate was too wide for the opening so I did not get the type of latch I wanted, he jerry-rigged a homemade latch very weird. When installing the motor for the sliding gate, they burned the motor out, I had to wait for almost three weeks for them to get a replacement. Overall, a 3-week job took them almost 3 months. That was near Thanksgiving. More recently, I contacted them to try and have them perform some adjustments on the fence. They simply did not reply to me. Very poor workmanship. And even worse communications. Stay away from this company.

Everyone was extremely nice and listened to what I wanted and made it happen. It was like working with family, I had an older wrought iron gate and fence and was hoping I did not need to replace but could refurbish it . I was reassured it did not need replacing but refurbishing would be the way to go and the cost was very reasonable. My gate/fence looks like new .

Terrible Communication! When we called : nobody would answer our calls! Left my fence open for 3 days and we live on the highway. They finally came back on Monday and Tuesday to finish. Beside the bad communication and confusion, they did an " AWESOME JOB" on the fence. I'm extremely happy with the FINISH! Need to work on BETTER COMMUNICATION SKILLS!

Sam is easy to work with A little late in coming on time but understand that at times he has to pick up last minute material for job Other than that I would highly recommend this company

Despite the rainy weather, they were able to complete most of the post-setting phase. I appreciate a hard working crew.

They were fine with welding but I hired them to rehang a gate. It failed after 6 weeks. They were unable to come up with a working solution.

The handrail was finally installed today, 9/8/2017, after a month long delay due to the company was busy and didn't follow up with me. He missed our initial visitation consultation, but made it up by coming the next day. From then on, it was trying to schedule a date and time to install the handrail, which was today. Sam and Steve did a great job and were very accommodating to ensure we were pleased with the handrail. I guess the price was right; however, I can't compare with any other vendors being that this was the only business recommended for this project.

Wayne picked up my iron fence which was badly rusted and repaired it in a week. Returned it to me ready to install. Great job......
