Job: install fan and switch for it in spot with no electrical box yet. 1 hr 56 min arrival to departure. Pros: Called me the next day after reaching out through Angie. Friendly to talk to during booking and while working at the house. The work went well nstalling the ceiling fan and a switch for it where one wasn't. Cons: Never quoted job (figured it couldn't be that bad for a fan install so didn't ask - big mistake) and appointment was a month out for 7:30am on a Friday. Informed them I worked nights at the time of booking. They text me at 6am that day to inform they'd ould be late and arrived at 9:46a (I'm 25 hrs awake at the point they arrive). Invoice for $737 comes across. Inquired about the $300 for labor for one and $375 for labor for the other and was told "We usually charge round trip, and I only charged you one way. And there was no existing switch or fan location,if it was as simple as just changing a fan out there would have only been one". Double labor charge unfair.

He did a thorough job.

My 220 plug for my stove had pulled clear out of wall. The service man was right on time , text and let me know when he would be there. He put in new box and had it wired back in no time. Very nice man , works perfect. And looks great. Thank you

Highly recommend Shumaker Electric. Made an appointment with Sam, went over job and received an estimate approximately a week later. Made arrangements for work to be done. Sam and his crew showed up ON TIME. We reviewed the work to be done. His crew got busy and got it done. They cleaned up the mess and took all boxes and trash with them. And the estimate was on target! Will definitely use Sam and his crew in the future.

We recently had Sam come over after we lost power to a section of our house. After a thorough investigation of our panel, breakers, and wiring he found a fried outlet that was breaking the circuit and creating a fire hazard. After replacing that our power returned to normal. He was also able to give us advice on upgrades we can do ourselves for the safety and longevity of our home. Shumaker Electric provided excellent service, and we will definitely use them in the future.
