"First of all the product you were provided was not cheap, it comes with a limited lifetime warranty, so if it is not operating properly, the best way to resolve that is to contact our company and request an inspection. During that inspection, if it is found to be not operating properly it's replaced at no charge. The headrail was priced at $1.00 per inch. You were not charged $99.00 for 1/2 hour of labor. We did a free estimate, came to your house, uninstalled a blind, installed a new headrail, and reinstalled the vertical vanes on that headrail. You were given the estimate in advance and agreed to the price. I would have hoped, before leaving a review like this, you would have at least called us and informed us you were not satisfied and give us the chance to rectify the problem. As far as not having the proper tools, my van is full of tools. I used a Bosch cordless drill with a 1/4 drive to install the brackets. We do not use screwdrivers. Do all blind screws have a 3/16? head on them, so it can appear as though they are not fully secured, but I assure you they are. They are the exact same style as the old screws in your old headrail. During this install I remember a comment about not using the old screws, however, they were painted to match your wall and may have blended in a little better. We do not paint our screws. Customer service is our top priority, however, we can not fix a problem if we do not know they exist."
