Interlocking Pavers for Patios, Walks & Steps Installation
Yes, I recommend this pro
$1,800
They were great! The crew that installed my pavers worked very hard and definitely knew what they were doing. I am extremely pleased with the pavers they installed for our front patio area. Ryan, the owner came out to meet with me and also worked on the project. Great guys. Extremely pleased. Will hire again.

Ryan was professional in all aspects of our project. He was communicative, on time, fair in his pricing, and above all worked to complete the project per our requests. Even his crew were eager to please and professional in their work. I would highly recommend Siebert Landscaping to anyone seeking a competent landscaper. We were extremely pleased with this transaction.

I can't believe that I had forgotten to review this company, Maybe because I have already told everyone that I know how outstanding his work is. actually, it was not just how well the project went ( it was finished about 3 years ago), but what his crew and his work ethics impressed my husband. and I. He and his crew were all very professional, polite and worked into the night on some tasks were completed, so the next step would be ready for the next day. We also liked the idea that he was able to do almost every trade within, his company. From grading the land, concrete work, pavers, lighting plus he also did all the design work and got our approval on the drawings. We lived in Brown County, Indiana and the work was being done on the edge of a ravine, with no access for heavy equipment, but he got the job done., I have had so many compliments on his work, my gardens are really a work of art. He also installed two fountains, a Koi pond, trellises, sitting walls around a beautiful stone fire pit, and was able to install an 11 feet high open gazebo overhead that was topped off with his signature style of the use of colored glass. It is stunning. I have also had his company come back every year to do the Spring clean up, and the house is sitting in a forest. He also created a Moon Gate that sits at the back of the upper gardens, that leads you to a moss covered trail for hiking. he created a Zen garden also. and he planted over 200 plants, four of which are the most beautiful Japanese Maples. So if you are looking for quality work for your landscaping, call Mr. RyanSiebert. Update: And, just to let you know, we have had two really bad and long winters and every bit of his work stands like it was just finished.

Ryan Siebert Landscaping over promises and under delivers. He is slow with no attention to detail and Ryan fails to provide proper oversight or to check his work. His crew is hardworking but Ryan lacks the skill to manage his crew toward a quality end product. You will need to check his work daily to make sure it is right. He would be fine for throwing mulch or planting trees but technical work, buyer beware. Ryan did a paver patio and paver pool deck with retaining wall for us. We hired him to do the work April 6th with an estimated start date set for the last week of May, first week of June. He finally started work at our home on July 11th. He stated the job should take 2-2 ½ weeks to complete. He stopped working and we parted ways on week 7. When we hired him he stated he had a crew of 5-6. For the first month he had a crew of 2 or 3. He did end up with a full crew the last few weeks of work. His crew was actually only in my backyard between 3-5 hours most day, starting late, taking an hour lunch offsite and leaving by 3:30p most days they showed up. He is a landscaper who doesn’t work when it is raining, the next day after rain (too muddy) and also took off a few days because it was too hot. He had to rebuild the retaining wall 3 times because, in his words, he ‘missed his mark’. The circular wall went up and down by as much as 4 inches leading to areas of the walkway that would have had the pitch of a wheelchair ramp. He misfit the cap stones on the retaining wall and had to chisel them off and re-glue them 3 times. He installed the coping around the pool 5 times having to chisel it off and re-glue it as well. The final time was still not done correctly. None of the above issues were discovered or pointed out by him. I had to find every defect and point it out to him. After being shown each issue, he conceded that it was not right each time. If I had not checked his work and ask him about it, he would have happily given me the poor craftsmanship. Because he and his crew yelled at me, calling me a liar and a cheat and accused me of ‘tearing up his work’ on the last day he worked for me, I’m sure Ryan will respond to this review. So I will speak about payment. Initially, he sent me a bid and I offered to give him the down payment to get started. We made some changes to the initial design and contract so he said he would get started and we could do the contract later. Once he began and I saw his craftsmanship and ethics, my trust in him eroded quickly. He then asked for a signed contract and I refused. I told him I would pay him, but that I didn’t trust him to finish. He continued to work and after the major flaws started showing up, I brought up issues concerning the extended weeks the work was taking and the poor craftsmanship, this lead to our first heated discussion, I gave him $10,000. He then continued work and repeatedly failed to do good work. On the last day
Response from Siebert Landscaping, LLC
"Contractors beware! (consumer name withheld per their request) pushed and bullied me from the beginning of his project. I over trusted and believed in his word and handshake. I asked for a signed contract and deposit for materials and yet he refused to pay anything until half way thru the project, which was still $5k less than what was requested for the deposit, which did not even cover the delivered materials. When I approached him yet another time about a draw to simply cover materials, he refused and said "I like to hold this over your head so you will continue to work." Spring of 2016 was very wet which delayed not only his project, and several projects before and after; consequently, pushing all my jobs back, and for that I repeatedly apologized. (consumer name withheld per their request) pool was in the back yard at the bottom of a steep hill. Any amount of rain made using equipment to move over 100 TONS of stone very challenging and dangerous in wet and muddy conditions. Trying to make up for the rain delays, we continued to work using wheelbarrows to haul stone and block down the slippery hill until it could dry up. Summer of 2016 was also very HOT with temps in the high 90's and heat index reaching up to 115, for several weeks, I had one employee, myself included, suffer from heat exhaustion and yes that is why we left for lunch to find cold water and air conditioning. My foreman and one crew member both had deaths in the family during this project which I gave time needed to be with their families. We continued to work with a small crew given the situation. When building a wall, we start at the lowest point and build up, in this project the lowest point was the back of the pool. We built a circular wall around the pool, which put the last block placed our "key stone" in front. (consumer name withheld per their request) did not like the look of this "key stone" and said he "did not want to have to stare at it for the next 20 years" So even without a signed contract and full deposit, we tore down the wall to rotate all the blocks to a position he liked better. Given the height of the wall I recommended an engineered block with a pin system. Because of the pins and a circular pool, we had to make cuts to the blocks and the caps to accommodate the circumference of the pool. So yes we had to redo and chisel glue off of caps when the request was made to rotate a wall and caps. Every issue (consumer name withheld per their request) had and brought to my attention, we corrected despite the time it added on to the project. (consumer name withheld per their request) looked me in the eyes and shook my hand and agreed to pay me when we finished the project. On the morning of last day he pulled me aside and refused to pay the final $15,000 he owed to us. We continually made any changes that he requested throughout the 7 weeks we were on the job, without complaint. Every effort was made to accommodate any and all requests that said cus"

Ryan and his crew are absolutely first rate. Ryan designed a beautiful landscape plan including a stone patio with fountain and walkways. Ryan listened carefully to what our wants were and reworked the design accordingly. And, since we live in a neighborhood that requires approval of any outside work that is done, he helped supply the details that were needed for the design committee. His team was efficient, professional and courteous. They were very mindful to ensure that our dog did not get loose from the backyard (they made sure that they closed the gate when they left -- a major plus in our eyes!). They were very neat, making sure that they cleaned up the site before they left for the day. We recommend Ryan very highly.

I want to take this moment to give a very high rating for Mr. Ryan Siebert. I have observed in him a good work ethic and an enthusiasm which insures that the job be completed on time. Mr. Seibert did. Exactly what I asked for and with his training did it right so that my brick walkway would have a he explained to me what polymer sand is and does and explained to me every step of the way what he was doing. His pricing was not only reasonable, but he suggested that we could use our own pavers to save us some money. I highly recommend Siebert Landscaping in Martinsville to anyone who wants a job done correctly, on time, and with your interest in mind.

We called Ryan and made an appointment for him to come out and give us an estimate to repair the embankment where our driveway meets the road. The bank was damaged from an auto accident and was washing away from the weather. Ryan and his crew came out and repaired the bank, its looks better than ever. They exceeded our expectations and completed the job quickly. The cost for the repairs were less than what we had expected. We highly recommend Siebert Landscaping and will be using them again for driveway reconstruction.

Siebert Landscaping has completed three projects for us in the past three years - building a stone patio, landscaping and a privacy fence. Each time Ryan listened to what we wanted and was always willing to make any changes we requested. Designs were unique and each project complimented the previous work. Crew worked hard and was very professional. Every night the work area was left neat and orderly. Finished projects are gorgeous. Would definitely recommend.

Brick and Stone Patios, Walks, and Steps - Install

Our project consisted of a pergola, bubbling boulder & flagstone patio. The pergola was good, but we encountered several issues including communication, destruction of existing lawn, a ruptured septic line & the stone in the finished patio exhibited numerous saw marks in 15- 20% of the stones. When asked, he indicated that it was necessary, the marks are normal/expected & he said it was the best they could do. This lack of attention to detail makes the patio appear unprofessionally installed. We regret our selection of Siebert Landscaping and will have to redo much of the patio and lawn.
Response from Siebert Landscaping, LLC
"We regret having worked for Brandi B. She didnt mark private utilities per contract, as a result we cut the septic line which we repaired that same day. She approved the design and yet she chose not to communicate her expectations, until after the flagstone patio was built. We rebuilt the patio to her approval cutting every flagstone for the unnaturally tight fit she wanted. There was destruction of the lawn, b/c we dug for a patio! She did not want to remove the excavated soil or bring in new soil so we spread what was her poor soil to begin with. We did all she requested including an extra 2 days of work to make it right."

Ryan was very easy to deal with. Listened to what we had in mind for a paver patio and then he came back with some recommendations. we explained to him up front that we had a deadline we were shooting for and he said he could fit us in. even with all the rain he was able to complete in time and in fact a week early. his work exceeded our expectations. best I can say is if had to do it over again I'd hire Siebert Landscaping without any hesitation.

It's better than before, but not what I expected.
Response from Siebert Landscaping, LLC
"We were asked to remove roots from 2 tree stumps that were cut down by another company and not taken care of during stump grinding. The underground roots were longer and deeper than hoped for. To do it right we had to dig deeper resulting in more of the yard begin torn up than expected. We brought in extra topsoil, graded and seeded all disturbed areas. It is better than before and not what I had expected as well for trying to remove tree roots."

The landscape design was very well laid out. Not only did he listen to all of our comments and ideas, but he was able to incorporate them into a beautiful design. We have not finished the project, yet, but the design looks great!

Ryan provided us with ideas which turned our very small back yard into an extended living area of our home. My must haves included (1) creating a space that allowed me to entertain 10-15 people, (2) kid friendly, we have 3 kids under the age of 7, (3) create a garden area and (4) no fuss plants which need to be colorful and fragrant. Ryan was able to create a budget friendly three year plan which met and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend using this company for any size landscape project.

He has not yet completed the job, but he was completely open to just giving me advice at the beginning. I wasn't even going to have it done until spring, but I liked him so much that I decided to have him do the whole project this fall.
