I had them to fix my ice maker and was billed $190.00 and it still doing the same thing. Freezes the ice into one big block of ice. I will not use them anymore.

The cost was way above what I was expecting considering all he did was change out the dryer vent hose.

Our labor costs include paying our technician to do a good quality job, I do understand that changing a vent may not seem like an expensive repair but most companies charge more for their service call then the repair that we did for you. I hired them to see what was going on with my dryer as it was kicking over to cool down when starting up. The appointment window was for between 12-2pm. No call, "Larry" eventually showed at 2:54. I explained what the issue was and he was off to diagnose and see if he could fix it. He went to his van several times to either get tools or something. We were in the middle of a storm at the time and he didn't close the deck door. Unfortunately the glass was up on my storm door, so rain came through the screen and there was quite the puddle I needed to mop up by the door. Then he took my sheets that had been in the dryer and threw them on the floor. (Seems he could have set them on the washer or something other than tossing them on the floor) I was getting no feedback from him, when asked he said he'd tell me what he found in a bit, so I left him alone. He came out and told me my thermistor was shot and needed replacing and quoted me a price that gave me pause, so I wanted to see if it was worth keeping the dryer or was it time to replace it. I also wanted to see if they were charging an exorbitant price for the part and installation. After checking online and calling GE (the manufacturer) I found this dryer doesn't have a thermistor. Then the frosting on the cake was when I went back into the laundry room, I see that Larry had left the dryer away from the wall and setting at an angle and the he had not put the front kick plate back on. All this cost me a service charge of nearly $50. Wish I could bill them for cleaning up the flooding from him not being considerate and professional enough to close the door, re-washing the sheets he had thrown on the floor and returning the appliance to it's original position and putting back on the kick plate. I hired them based on the glowing reviews posted here. I don't know if Larry was having a bad day or if he just really didn't give a damn. He seemed VERY non-chalant when I mentioned the door needed to be closed and the water that was mopped up off the floor. I wrote their office and told them of the experience and never heard a word back. If this is a 4+ star appliance repair service, I can't imagine poorly scored ones.

Service was provided in a very timely basis. The issue was resolved very effectively and efficiently. The technician also addressed another potential problem that he has been seeing with this LG washing machine model recently. I could tell that this service technician was extremely knowledgeable and I appreciated him going above and beyond to ensure that this appliance works as expected now and for the foreseeable future.
