These people overcharged for a blower. A $145.00 blower they charged $673.00. Jonathan, in customer, his reason for such a cost was "we get it direct of the manufacturer with a one year warranty". This is what he told my wife. However, earlier that morning, he left me a message stating that his guy was en route to pick the blower at Universal. Universal is not the manufacturer, the blower is made by Fasco. With no middle man, it should cost less. They lie and over charge you. Do Not Call This Company, they rip you off.

We had high velocity A/C installed in our 93 year old home in June. They completed the work in a timely manner and everything looks great. We were a little apprehensive because of the price - which was comparable to area estimates- but now that it's installed and working great we keep saying it's the best investment we made. If you can swing it, do it!!

Kristin did a very thorough job in explaining the options and the financials of the systems I was interested in, and scheduled a service tech for an issue I had with a current unit. Installation techs did a great job and kept the work sites clean after they finished - very happy with everything

Tried to rip me off! I bought a home that hadn't been occupied for a couple years and the HVAC system had been shut down. I hired Sila to come out and do a check-up and start the furnace. Once started the system made some unusual noise and the technician shut it down. He told me that the furnace needed an $800 part or possibly replace the entire system. I had a second company come out and look at the system, the fired it right up, checked everything and it is working fine. The unusual noises were simply from sitting for a couple years not being run. I definitely will never call Sila again - I don't feel they can be trusted.

Sila responded to my inquiry quickly. During the evaluation of the job, they measured all rooms and windows to ensure the optimal solution was selected. Then, the Sila Service team did an excellent job installing the new systems, and cleaning up afterwards. The entire Sila team was very courteous and professional throughout the process from end-to-end. I would recommend Sila for anyone considering any type of HVAC project!

They installed a new HVAC system in my 100 year old house. This process costs as much as a car. I am thrilled with the AC, but the before-and-after customer care SILA offered left me feeling burned. SALES WAS SNEAKY. WATCH OUT: The consultant guy essentially lied to me to get the contract (I told him the competing company would install the return in the attic. He said it was impossible, there's not enough room. He called his contractor to "verify." This scared me into signing with Sila. But when the contractor came, he said there was plenty of room in the attic.). He didn't bring his own ladder and watched me carry mine up from the basement for him! Didn't use laser measurements. He probably oversold me on a 3 ton when I only needed a 2.5 ton (according to two other companies). And I never heard from him again once he had my down payment in his hand. WORKERS WERE GREAT: Installation is great, AC is wonderful. Workers were diligent, professional, and courteous. Cleaned up after themselves, hardly knew they were here. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Where were you??? Workers were gone when I came home from work, which is fine. I had no idea how to pay the rest of the money, no one showed me how to change the filter, and I had several other questions about the new system that no one could answer. Also, why don't they give me an outline of a maintenance plan (what to do every month or in 1, 5, 10, 15 years, etc)? They offer literally ZERO info, just a signed contract.

Overall great experience. Very informative and worked within my budget as well. Installation was professionally executed and timely.
