Contract stipulated completion by January 15, 2026; we are now 52 days overdue on a 5.5ftx5.5ft bathroom. Work began on the 5.5ft by 5.5ft bathroom ten weeks ago, with an estimated timeline of 3-4 days, per the contractor. Since then, no work has been completed to standard except the installation of one toilet in an unrelated bathroom. The bathroom is unusable, with materials still in our bedroom. Weeks have proceeded without work, with every excuse offered to us for the delay; excuses range from sickness to simple lack of ability to complete the work. At present, the bathroom only has cement board installed (per the contractor) but with substandard quality, and flooring installed in a non-water-tight manner. No other work of any kind has been completed in ten weeks, other than a plumbing disconnect that resulted in a leak into our dining room. The contractor repaired the large water damage, but didn t even paint the area; we did. All told, we have lost use of our primary second floor bathroom for ten weeks with absolutely zero improvement, despite repeated patience and our attempts to work this out directly with Silver Rock. We have notified him of formal termination of the contract and demand a refund of $5700, which we feel is more than fair under the circumstances.

Silver Rock Builders did an amazing job for us, and we would highly recommend them. The team was very professional. They were meticulous in every detail, never rushed, very polite and always communicating well about any issues, giving great recommendations based on their experience and knowledge of building codes. A great team to work with. Beautiful, quality work.

Silver Rock Builders recently finished building a deck and pouring a cement patio for me. I felt bullied throughout the entire process. They wanted to do things how they wanted and not how I wanted. I feel they were more interested in getting paid than they were in making sure I was satisfied. The patio and deck were well built, but I was charged quite a bit extra for miscalculations. I would not recommend them.

I cannot say enough good things about Silver Rock Builders. Every part of the project was seamless and professional. Jose and his team were excellent - from the initial bid and scope to the finished glorious deck that we enjoy nightly! Jose was responsive and communicated regularly about the status of the project. His team was hardworking, polite and professional. The finished deck is beautiful, I am searching for other projects to use them again. Highly recommend!

He is great with comm skills. Makes customer feel comfortable and does what he says he will do.
