I hired them in march and gave them half down since my friend recommended them and said they were phenomenal. Fast forward to almost October my roof still isn't done and they won't give me my money back. Currently looking to go the legal route since dave karnuk stole my money. Do not hire this company!

This company (Silverline Restoration Inc., 1789 New Britain Ave., Farmington, CT 06032) replaced my roof for a home in Glastonbury in June 2021. The contract calls for the installation of 8 (eight) new skylights as well as the replacement of the entire roof. When I started, I deposited 50%. They completely replaced the new roof and six skylights in September 2021. The two skylights left (same size) of the sunroom they came to install were not accurate (the width is 2 inches short), so they needed to work back with the supplier. In March 2022, I paid the company the rest, 50% less 2 thousand. I thought 2 thousand would be enough to cover 2 skylights, but I was totally wrong. Since March 2022 until last May 2023 (14 months), I reached out to the company and all of them: David Karnuk (who called and texted so many times, it could be 50 times at least), Liz Karnuk (who emailed her several times), Chris (who called and texted him many times), and Ali Brite (the project assistant) (who called, texted, and emailed her several times). One of the old skylights has a big crack, and that causes water to leak into the ceiling when heavy rain falls. I reached out to David the most since he is the one I signed a contract with. In the last few months, I reached out to David every week. David made up so many stories to give me false hope. Last March, he promised it would be done by April 2023. David's last response in May 2023 was that he had two skylights in hand and would schedule the work in one week. In June, I reached out to all of them listed above several times but received no response at all from any one of them. I do not recommend you work with this company. I had such a terrible experience. They do not treat their clients honestly.

We contracted Silverline Restoration to do a new roof, fix some structural flaws, get us new skylights, and install solar panels. They did not show up on their scheduled day (and did not let me know until I called them, confused about where they were.) They came and completed most of the job on January 14th and 15th. We contacted them later that week to ask about the skylights because they were not replaced and we had not heard anything. We called them again a week later because of some excessive leaking that we noticed whenever it rained in our breezeway where they were supposed to fix some of the structural issues. They also left a lot of (construction) debris in our yard (items that would not fit in our weekly trash collection.) They neglected to call us back about any of these issues, despite many attempts on our part. As of April 12, these issues still have not been resolved (We were promised that they would arrive today to rectify all of the issues- however did not show up. Once we called twice and left messages, we learned that they were not planning on coming.)

Confusion with starting date otherwise fast, clean, responsive, priced right! Would definitely use again and recommend.

Dave gave me the best info possible, along with a workable price for the work to be done. Only draw back I found was the crew was not very good at communicating with me, when they found a problem on the job. Dave has been excellent about clearing up this small problem. Other then that the work was done to beyond what I had excepted. Would recommend Dave & his company to others.

I had 5-6 quotes from a bunch of different companies. This company was friendly, flexible and informative. They answered all my questions and concerns and gave me the best quote for my buck. Dave and his crew are obviously knowledgeable and highly experienced, in and out in one day. I would recommend them to others fore sure.

Job completed in one day, 8 til 5. Very efficient and clean. Amazing, hard-working crew. Did an excellent job and our roof looks beautiful. Am recommending them to friends.

Dave and his crew were extremely professional, cost effective, communicative, and FAST! I could not believe how quickly the project was completed once started. My new roof looks amazing and everything was quick and easy. I highly recommend this company!
