I heard a bid from this man for a deck, and he said that he was able to complete my landscaping projects as well. He was meant to install a deck in the back, install sod and new rock in the front (after replacing the landscaping fabric), and put in edging and new bushes. He asked for extra money for materials after I left the state on a Friday evening when the job was meant to start Monday. He never secured the permits for the deck or a watering permit for the sod and the City of Aurora verified he never applied for any permits. He dug the holes for the deck and, because he wasn't licensed despite the contract saying he would be, asked me to get a Homeowner's permit. Once I declined, he ghosted me for a month having only dug the holes and installed sod without rototilling or mixing in compost. The sod died, of course, despite our watering, and we had no permit to water more. A MONTH later, he shows up and pours different rock than what we had over bare dirt, with no landscaping fabric, and didn't install edging or bushes either. I called him to complain and ask him to fix it, and he never responded. A month after that, I sent him a demand letter for the return of my money, given he has proven he has no intention of completing any of my projects in a timely or professional manner, and he has yet to respond. I should have been tipped off the first time I texted him to ask when the team would be back to finish the job and to deliver the watering permit, and he very rudely told me he didn't work on weekends and that he was in Copper Mountain (presumably on my dime), and then he never delivered the permit when he said he would. I don't believe this man has any integrity to treat a customer this way, or that he would take any pride in his work resulting in dead sod, deep holes for no deck because he's not licensed in the city his business is in (per his address on Home Advisor), and unedged rock on bare soil.

Crew arrived on time ahead of start date and completed assignments of room repair, tile placement, and shed roofing All tasks completed professionally and with minimal disruption and in a friendly helpful fashion ahead of schedule and done nicely
