Hunter was great! He arrived on time and went above and beyond what I needed. I had a missing shingle that I needed replaced and he not only did that, but replaced/reinforced all of the shingles along that same edge. Additionally, his pricing was EXTREMELY reasonable (much less than I expected to pay). Would recommend!

My only complaint is that Simpson Roofing tried to sell me on a whole new roof, when all I needed was a patch done. Aside from that, he was perfect. Several severe storms have passed since the repair, and the repair has held, no sign of leaks. He stayed in contact via text & email. He got the job done quickly and for a fair price. This is the second time I have used Simpson Rooking, and I am pleased.

Contacted Hunter for shingle repair for an area of my roof that leaked in February. Never met in person, however he sent someone over on February 17th to set the shingles while I was at work. From the street it looked like it was done but I can't verify that because it was on the second story. On May 18th the same area started leaking again, texted Hunter to ask if he could look at it and he ended up calling me. On the phone he started talking about having conflict with other homeowners, etc. which threw me off because all I asked him is if he could come and look at the roof. He finally said he would come on May 20th, not sure if he did or not. On May 22nd he texts me saying that he would fix it but would charge me again because it's been 90+ days. I declined and said I'll take my loss and move on. So lesson learned for me. The repair leaked again after 90 days, so it means either they did a poor job at the repair or never repaired it at all. Two things I know for sure, Hunter was happy to take my money (ready to take more too) and the roof still leaks. No thanks "buddy". I won't be using them again.

The synopsis is this: Simpson Roofing treated me poorly. They arrived a week after initially scheduled. When they did arrive, they did the work but did not match the color of my shingles (my shingles are brown, they installed black). Hunter Simpson hung the phone up on me during a discussion in which I was asking him to guarantee his work (details below). He did eventually agree to guarantee the work for 60 days. I called another roofing company to look at my roof after they finished the job. This new company did a more thorough estimate and actually climbed on the roof. (Simpson only looked at it from the ground). I learned my roof had hail damage which Simpson Roofing did not disclose nor include in their estimate. Perhaps this is why they were hesitant to guarantee the work. It is questionable whether the work they did was actually needed. Here is a more detailed version: Hunter Simpson basically treated me as if he were a used car salesman hustling to get the next sale. I called them because I needed a leak repaired. My expectation was they would not only fix my leak but point out any other issues I had. Hunter Simpson came to my house. I took him in the room on the second floor where the leak was. He then walked around outside on the ground in the area of that house. He explained what he wanted to do and gave me his price. I had more questions, but he seemed eager to leave so I did not bother him further. On that Friday I received a message from him asking if I made a decision and that he could do it â tomorrowâ I told him I was waiting on another bid but would make a decision when it came in. That Sunday he reduced his price and said he could do it Tuesday. On Monday he messaged me again asking if I had made a decision. He also stated that this was the last time he was going to follow up. On Tuesday I agreed to his price if he could do the job on Wednesday weather permitting. He responded that I would be second on Wed and he would do his best to have it done Thurs at the latest. He didnâ t get there until the following Wednesday each day messaging me that he would be there â for sureâ the following day. To be fair, we did have a day of rain, and I did not want him to do my work on Saturday. I would have preferred however that he give me an honest accurate schedule. Everybody else did. I went with him because he said he could do it sooner. His crew arrived eventually and did the work. The following day (Thursday) he messaged me and asked me to call him so he could process payment. I called and gave him my credit card. I then asked him if the leak persisted would he take care of it. At that point he proceeded to tell me that if it leaked a year from now that it wasnâ t his fault. (What!!?? Who said anything about a year?) He then said he would come back if it leaked in a week or two. I told him two weeks was not long enough time. I just needed enough time to allow us to get a good hard rain. He was very defensive during this exchange and eventually hung up on me. I called him back and tried to gently reason with him. He eventually agreed to guarantee his work for 60 days. In addition to this, there are other details. They did not color match the shingles on my roof at all. They installed black shingles when the rest of my roof is brown. I found a closer color at Home Depot. They didnâ t even give me the option to purchase shingles I wanted. Clearly, they just didnâ t care. I feel like I was just a check. So I would have peace of mind, I called a second roofing company to look at my roof. They treated me much better. It turns out I had substantial hail damage. In the end my entire roof will be replaced including the work done by Simpson Roofing. After reading so many good reviews on Simpson, I donâ t know why they treated me so poorly. I do know this, however. I will never use them again.

My roof still leaks. Simpson representative said it was *mice*, and left. UPDATE - Hunter Simpson took the situation over personally and now my roof is Fixed. Two other workers were sent to complete the job (total of 4) for approximately 3 hours on the job. Thank You.

The repair was to be asphalt shingle roof leak repair, replace rotted soffits in another area, and repair damage to a storage building. The roof leak repair seems to be successful. The workers used Bondo rather than replacing the damaged soffits. I ask that they come back; Mr. Simpson was disrespectful that I ask. The second attempt was still not up to standard; no caulk; there were gaps where squirrels could get in. I insisted they come back the third time. Mr. Simpson used crude language (about the workers) and was very disrespectful to me. The third time was satisfactory.
