Hiring SJ Construction, for us was probably the best thing we could have done. Kitchen and bathroom fixtures were the easy part, but the supply lines were a disaster and made no sense whatsoever, and now you see clearly what goes where with the proper valves placed where they can be found and used. He had to finish the floor under the dishwasher where the floor installer missed for the new dishwasher. Clean up was a snap for us, he left nothing behind including the old dishwasher. Oh and in the middle of all things happening we decided to put in a garbage disposal. Not a problem he hooked us up. Fortunately, any supply needed was just a few blocks away and he took care of that as well. All said and done if you hire someone other than SJ Construction you are making a big mistake! We have decided that the other projects we have in mind will probably be done by Steve, who else would we choose, most everyone I know that we would trust is deceased sadly.

Tankless Water Heater - Install
Installed tankless hot water heater and sump pump. Modified furnace to raise it. Steve promptly scheduled the estimate and quoted a decent price. He arrived on schedule and did a very neat installation. He included several details which we hadn't even discussed to complete the job according to code. Great communication throughout.

Due to unprofessional work the house in inhabitable. He accepted the job knowing he had 12 other clients and he did not tell us that. We feel that a reputable contractor would have turned the damage done to, to his insurance company. He put a lien on our home. Even though everything was his fault. That has cost us 8500.00. He did this to disabled senior citizens. My husband is a recent leg amputee and in a wheelchair.

"The house was abandoned for 10 years prior due to there roof flooding there house they were rushing to sell it and have no money so I had my attorney put a lean on property for which is now sold and I got paid for they also sat around the house downing beers like real winners there water pipes where steel and rusted solid with no water coming out of every fixture i replaced all lines and got water going they then hired me to do flooring and paint cabinets and kitchen there was nothing that i did that could of cost them 8500 i was finished with work carrying my last tool out the daughter shut the door behind me said have a good night they aren"

It s sloppy work Items went missing My outlets wiggle and i think 1 breaker on my box is labeled right. he had to come back. he didn t know codes and had to rework dangerous installments. took much longer than quoted. talked like a gentleman and promised through and through it would be done right. very disappointed in the triple work

"Not exactly correct they had a shotty contractor in there working midnight shift going through old garbage left from guy that lived there before and she wasn?t even property owner they tried to pull one over on city codes and figured it out the hard way another customer trying to pinch pennies and blaming contractor"

It was a bit pricey but he did an excellent job and spared no effort to give me exactly what I asked for. Also he was kind enough to take his shoes off in the house. I do recommend this installer.
