They removed a failing front porch/stoop made of pavers, and replaced it with a brick and slate porch/stoop supported by reinforced concrete footers and slab. They started and finished on time, did excellent masonry, and cleaned up thoroughly. We are very pleased.

This is a difficult review to write. When the work was completed we loved the covered screened in deck. Although it wasn't finished within the contracted amount of time, We have had issues with the gutters that can't seem to be resolved. We have discovered through this harsh winter a major flaw in the roofing. We also had/have problems with the gutters during rain and have sent videos to show it. A gutter was patched together instead of replacing it in one whole piece. Circa a month ago Wayne came to the house during a rain and saw with his own eyes what the problem was. He advised he would get with the roofer and have them out the following week. That was several weeks and emails ago and still we get no dates from Wayne as to when we might expect resolution of the problem. His last email said if the roofers who did the job wouldn't come out he would hire someone else. Still nothing. The issues have actually caused water to leak into my house when We have a heavy rain.

The company doesn't provide all the details included in the project costs. Also have had hard time getting communication between the builders and client. Seem to not know the product being provided and how to install.

"All of Skye Builders scopes of works are written in non-technical terminology in order to avoid confusion. We strongly encourage customer(s) to ask any questions if they are unsure or unclear of what services they are to receive. This job was upgrading existing deck planks to composite and adding some rails. The job was unique in the sense that the deck(s) were a series of ground-level platforms throughout their backyard at different elevations that matched existing grade contours. It is not customary that low level decks get rails and the crew was asking questions on why they were installing rails on decks that didn't have a safety concern."

Since December 2013, I still has been waiting for my project it compete, almost 92% has been paid but that never been done all the way. Only the last couple of problems they refuse what their has to finisher all details and denies for complete their job. The company like,Skyebuilder. I completely don't know as much about them more than what I was reading on website. I do not have any information for suggest to everyone, and of course I will not recommend or refer them to anybody. "We are sorry this client is not happy with his deck project. We did everything possible to please him but cannot seem to get over the communication barrier. He wants us to do additional Heating and Cooling (HVAC) work outside of the original agreement and we explained to him that we are not qualified to do that type of work. He did mention that he liked the quality of the deck that we constructed for him."

We were impressed by the fast but detailed assessment from Tyrone, and very pleased by the quality of the work completed by Skye Builders' crew. Our HOA is particularly onerous, and Wayne, Shae and their team were gracious, fair, and deft at being flexible and dealing with them. I would definitely recommend Skye Builders and will be calling them again in the future.

This company was excellent! We needed existing concrete steps removed and wood steps installed onto a porch, and a separate fence enclosing a pair of air conditioning units. Our time frame to complete this work was very tight (4 days!). Skye Builder's representation (Larry Enten) was very knowledgeable and worked very closely with us in order to get this job done. Still waiting on Skye Builders to come and finish installing my deck stair lights which they did not complete. They might have broken an electrical line going into my house and immediately did not accept blame for it.

"We install the deck stair lights and they were not working. We were dealing with the manufacture to troubleshoot the brand new lights that were under warranty. We have since fixed the lights and change the light manufacture that we use to avoid any further service issues. We check the outlet and it was working fine."

Skye Builders is a very courteous and very customer oriented company. Everyone we worked with at every step of the process is extremely friendly. We were able get a blueprint of our deck during our initial consultation so we knew what it would look like before they began and to send in to our HOA for approval. The project was within our budget and started/ended according to schedule. The quality and craftmanship of out deck was outstanding. Skye Builders also contacted us a week after our project was completed to see how we were enjoying our new deck. I'd highly recommend them to everyone we know. Thank you so much Skye Builders!!!

The deck that they designed was beautiful. The wormanship was excellent and they cleaned up each night (as much as was feasible) and at completion all extra materials were gone. I absolutely LOVE my deck and would gladly recommend them

The job was substantially completed in September, but because I decided at a late stage to have Skye Builders also put in latticework around the deck, the job was extended. Also, the county inspector required illumination on the deck steps, and final approval will not be granted until that is accomplished.

So there were two projects by Skye Builders they were contracted to do. One was a composite deck, which was excellent. The craftmanship was well done, the service was excellent. The second project was a patio, a slate patio. The communication had kind of broken down, was not real timely although this may have been due to weather and other comitments. They did come and did the patio, however it missed some of the points that I had requested to cover. They did respond back to our residence and completed the job to our satisfaction. Wayne advised me that the work is warrantied for life.

The original deck was not what I originally contracted for, but Wayne, Jonathan, Shae and all of the Skye Builders crew went out of their way to ensure that my deck was built to my liking. The deck is wonderful. I would recommend Skye Builders highly. They even call on occasion to ensure my continued happiness with the deck. I will be using them for future home improvements with full confidence in their work. I would use no one else.

The project took far longer than we expected. In fairness some of the delay was due to weather. But the crew that he used to install the deck was careless. Several of the boards were cracked from the pounding yet they didn't replace them until we asked for them to be replaced. They left behind soda cans and other debris and just didn't seem to care about the quality of the work. The owner was responsive, but the crew built with so many mistakes that they had to undo so much. The owner actually said that he lost money on our project--I can believe it based on their having to redo so many of their mistakes. In the end we do like the deck.

During the estimate Jonathan thoroughly reviewed what needed to be done, explained some potential challenges, provided good options. The project did turn out to present so not so unexpected challenges and the options to handle these were thoroughly discussed before proceeding. Despite delays for rain and the problems encountered, the project was completed on time and appears to be quite satisfactorily done. There will be a final review before the final payment.

Jonathan at Skye Builders was excellent to work with on the deck project. It was delayed due to extreme cold weather and snow, but once it was completed it looks fantastic. We have had several compliments on the work. Their work crew was polite, clean, and did a very good job. We are recommending them to our neighbors!

We were very pleased with the quality of the deck. Extra effort was expended by the company to have construction done in time for the Memorial Day holiday - which was greatly appreciated. Clean up work was extremely good, and all questions and comments were promptly addressed. This was the smallest of the companies we interviewed, but by far the best in terms of value and quality of work.
