Skyline Construction and Remodeling

Having contractors in our house isn���t something we look forward to. Our experience with Skyline Construction both its owner and its crews changed our view of contractors. Eric Saida, the owner, impressed us from the start. We wanted someone to update our master bathroom. Eric quietly listened to what our ideas were, presented professional assessment and gave us his quote for the job. No hysterics, no high fives, no catastrophic possibilities, just a calm presentation on what he saw the job as and its associated cost. We instantly gave him the go-ahead. His crew started demolition as soon as we reported having obtained the behind the wall plumbing fixtures. The demolition crew completely covered all of the furniture and carpets between the bathroom and the outside door. In less than day their work was done and all of the refuse was gone. The plumbing crew worked expeditiously coordinating their tasks with the arrival of a 300 pound cast iron bathtub so that plenty of men were available to wrestle it into position. Eric surprised us when we saw he wasn���t going to use off-the-shelf backer board but use a more labor intensive membrane and wire reinforcing mesh under a concrete float. The walls came out perfect ready for a smooth tile installation. The tile crew was outstanding. Dal Tile sent the wrong tile color. They immediately notified us of the problem and returned the tiles for the correct color. The resulting wall and floor tiling is perfect. The plaster and paint crew did a perfect job as well. They removed the wallpaper without destroying the plaster board. The resulting bare board was plastered with a smooth finish and painted. The result is perfectly smooth painted walls. All-in-all we are thoroughly satisfied with the bathroom Skyline Construction remodeled for us and will call them again when its time to do our guest bathroom.

We did a major kitchen and bathroom remodel. Eric was terrific to deal with! He was very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. Eric was on top of every aspect of the project every step of the way. It was great to use a contractor that was on time and on budget. We would highly recommend Eric and his company.

We just moved into a new house and chose Skyline based on the reviews we read on Angie's List and Yelp and we couldn't be happier. Eric and his team did a great job of remodeling our dated kitchen and master bath. The quality of the work was superb and Eric was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Even after the work was done they still came back to fix a couple of minor issues. We're planning on remodeling our other 2 bathrooms and will definitely hire Skyline again. We highly recommend them!

Eric was great. He came out to the house twice to give me quotes on different projects. In the end, Skyline ended up demoing an exterior wall and a bunch of concrete in the back yard, bricking up two extra doorways, and installing a new window. The quality of the work was top notch. The crews were friendly and efficient. Overall, the project was done right and on time. Would highly recommend.

We hired Skyline Construction & Remodeling, and specifically our project coordinator Eric, on three separate occasions to remodel two bathrooms, a laundry room, a garage, and our perimeter fencing and gates. Some aspects of the remodeling projects were relatively typical and straightforward (tile, cabinets, countertops, drywall, plumbing fixtures, lighting, ventilation), whereas other aspects were more complicated and less common (custom distressed cabinet staining, high flow multi-valve shower, a large new construction window requiring structural framing, sky tube lighting, and my new throne, a Kohler Numi electronic toilet). Skyline & Eric were wonderful in that they were not afraid to take on these non-cookie cutter projects and enthusiastically took on every design challenge I could throw at them. My wife and I had a good idea of the design for each of the rooms, as well as the materials that we wanted to use (tiles, countertops, paint colors, plumbing fixtures, toilets, etc.), but we aren't designers so Eric helped us fine-tune our conceptual designs into reality. Skyline provided all of the construction related materials (drywall, insulation, framing wood, etc), and the custom made materials (cabinets, windows, shower glass and door). Whereas we selected and purchased the finish materials (tile, countertops, fixtures, etc.). That worked out well because we could price shop, and be ensured that we were getting exactly what we wanted. Eric would review a list of everything I planned on purchasing, before I made the purchase, to ensure that everything would be compatible. Skyline handled acquiring and dealing with the permits, all we had to do was pay for them. All of the workers were friendly and cleaned up each day before they left. The projects were completed in a reasonable time. I communicated often with Eric via phone and email. He was always very responsive and quickly followed up on any questions or concerns. You can tell that he cares about the quality of the work and the satisfaction of his customers. I would hire Skyline again without reservation. In fact, I have a few other projects in mind and plan to do just that.

Skyline Construction completely remodeled our master bathroom including converting our sunken bathtub into a walk-in shower. All the different crews, from the demo crew, to the electrician, the hot mopper, the plasterer, the plumber, the glass shower door installer, and the painter were excellent. The tile work turned out exceptional. Eric was very helpful from the very beginning and throughout the entire process. He helped my wife pick out the tiles and made various suggestions that would never have occurred to us including raising the countertop and putting an ogee edging on the granite countertop. He was on top of the project from start to finish and scheduled the work so that there were no delays. If we had any questions or concerns he was right on top of it and did everything he could to satisfy us. The finished product looks beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be happier.

Skyline Construction and the Owner Eric is very professional. They are honest, timely, hardworking, great communicators and never a problem getting a hold of. They really complete large jobs on time, on budget, and as agreed upon. Remodeling multiple rooms and a kitchen while people live in a home is no small feat. Erick quoted a 16 days and finished in 15. I can tell you that no previous construction job ever went as smoothly or as professionally as these guys run them. They have the experience to recommend what to do and what not to, they will recommend best options but have no problem running with a customers ideas too. All the teams that work for these guys seem to be on top of their game and I imagine that's why Skyline works with them repeatedly. Whether it's the tile guys, the cabinet guys, hardscape, landscape, plumbing, electrical, it was clear these guys work together enough to run smoothly. I will hire them again on my next remodel project, and so should you.
