We have had a terrible experience dealing with Skyline Inspections. After discovering that the house we had just purchased had major roof damage, none of which was indicated on our inspection report, we reached out to both the inspector and the company's office to discuss our situation. We provided pictures of the roof issues and let them know that we had multiple roofing companies assess the damage, and that the nature and progression of the damage indicated it was a long-standing issue. Instead of discussing our situation with us, we received only defensive replies telling us they would take no responsibility, and even went as far as telling us that if we tried pursuing legal recourse that their documentation would protect them. If that wasn't bad enough, they then proceeded to tell us how exemplary their customer service is. Only after bringing up these issues, were we told directly by the inspector that he never examined the roof structure, and later by the company's office that they aren't even required to do so, even though the inspection report specifically says this was completed as part of the home inspection. We are now in a very distressing situation where we are new owners of a home needing repair that would have been addressed as part of the home purchase negotiations, if only the inspection had actually been completed as outlined in the report.

He was kind enough to explain what he was doing, what he was looking for and did not mind if we had question he would answered them without any hesitation.
