I hired Skyline Roofing and Contracting, LLC for snow removal and I paid for a year in advance, the snow ended and they did not come by to shovel the driveway, I called Branden and he told me he was here, I told him he was not at my place to remove snow; he threatened to put a lien on my property for work that he did not do, makes promises and never follows thru. He swore at me and was very rude to deal with. They still have not refunded for the rest of the contract

"Thank you for your concerns, however, it was not disclosed how this homeowner began by yelling and swearing at the staff who picked up the phone, calling the company derogatory names, as well as the staff who have cleared her driveway in the past. It was explained to the homeowner how sodium chloride was put down on her driveway in the middle of the night before it snowing, as it was going to rain, and ice over. The homeowner continued to swear at the staff on the phone. It was explained how we were not charging for de-icing and could charge for it. We gave a guarantee that her driveway would be cleared and explained that she needs to inform us if it needs to be completed by a certain time."

Please do your homework before hiring this company. What we thought was an ice dam due to a leak through our bedroom ceiling light on Christmas morning became an expensive attic insulation project with a dire warning from Skyline that we had several leaks and no insulation in our attic. After paying $725 for the initial package that included Skyline removing snow/ice dams off our roof and checking the attic for leaks (claimed it would also include snowplowing for the season), we were charged thousands more for the owner husband Brandon to bring in a crew to blow in insulation. He claimed it would be covered by insurance and we would receive Xcel Energy credits. After delays he finally said the work would be done that night, but first he wanted to come and meet us in person, mainly to explain why Skyline had received bad reviews (blamed it on a disgruntled employee). When the crew finally arrived, they halted work after 5 minutes, claiming the equipment was not working so they would have to come back. We were suspicious and got a second opinion the next morning - found out there was no way Skyline could have even seen the initial site of the leak because there was no access from garage attic to attic over our bedroom where the leak occurred. Also, we have about the same amount of insulation as anyone else in the neighborhood whose house was built in the 1990s. Nothing dire. It is clear our insurance company would not have paid, since there was no damage and we have had no problems since. We now speculate the leak occurred when excess moisture blew in through a vent during a storm. After pulling the plug on the work we asked for a refund but offered to pay some for Skyline initial visit and willingness to help on Christmas Day (although they did not actually show up until late Dec. 26), as well as a restocking fee for the unused insulation. Skyline agreed to refund a portion, but they were still going to charge us for several bogus items: $275 for taking our call on Christmas after hours (they received my name through HomeAdvisor and called ME on Christmas to solicit our business); $500 for going into the attic to assess for leaks (that was promised in the initial $725 we paid - and we have not received snow plowing as part of that package either), $100 for a phone call discussing insulation levels and the need for insulation,; and a $153 insulation restocking fee. Brandon and his wife seemed like very nice, trustworthy people at first, and we were very appreciative of their help over the Christmas holiday, but in retrospect we feel taken advantage of, and they have not returned calls to discuss our refund. I recommend you do thorough research before you hire Skyline Roofing Contracting.

"Thank you for addressing your concerns. We went out to the house of this homeowner on Christmas Day to take care of an ice dam and look for a leak in the attic. After having our employees go through the attic, there was no leak that was seen, however, we did go through and seal up anywhere we felt cool air. It was discussed how the level insulation was not up to code, which is one of the biggest preventions of ice dams. The homeowners agreed to have insulation completed. We went out to begin and were unable to the night that was planned. At that time the homeowners decided to have a neighbor look at their insulation who told them they believed their neighbor which was unknown whether he was an expert in attic insulation."

Snow Removal/Ice Dams. I found an absolutely fantastic company yesterday for snow removal and so much more, so I wanted to share! Skyline Roofing and Contracting, LLC came to our home at the drop of a hat to dig out our mailbox when the post office refused to deliver our mail because the mailbox was plowed in. They did an excellent job and have so much more to offer! They take care of your yard in warmer months, deal with ice jams and snow removal during the winter, and even take care of clean up after storms. This is just the tip of the iceberg for what this company offers. I am so impressed that I had to share! Their office number is (763) 326-1205 and the owner, Brandon, also answers his cell phone until midnight for emergencies (763) 276-0655. Just wanted to help my neighbors during these long winter months.

This company is a complete scam and do not trust anything that they say they will do because they do not do it. They claim they came out to our house several times, meanwhile we have had two snow storms and no one came out. We had to call to see if someone would come out, and they never did until the following day and at that point it was too late. When they did come out they used a snow blower, not a snow plow which we could have done ourselves. Definitely not what we paid for. Please read all of the reviews regarding this company, because several people have been scammed by them.

The customer service was great, Even though I contacted them on a Saturday afternoon, they got me set up though this winter & next, including leaf clean up. They also came out that evening to get my driveway and walkways cleared so it would be easier to navigate when the next snow comes (and it will).

I had a very good experience working with Brandon and Rick. Brandon got my urgent message through HomeAdvisor at 2:00 AM and called me immediately! Rick was on site before 8:00 AM and done by noon. Extremely responsive, no communication issues, very smooth. Rick did great work, too! I definitely paid a premium to get the work done so quickly but for me it was money well spent. As far as the other reviews go: I was up front with Brandon about the negative feedback and he seemed genuinely interested in making this a great experience for me.

I was told by Skyline that I would get FREE snow removal for one winter yet when it did snow not only did they not clear my driveway and sidewalk I was unable to contact them by phone, One of the numbers on the invoice was no longer in service, one was the phone number of an individual not associated with Skyline. Then I tried the number on the salesmans card and was continuously turned over to a voice mail but NEVER got a callback. So I had to find another snow removal service. On an unrelated note, Skyline offered to install a new screen door and take away the old one for free. They did install a door but never took away the old one. I had called and asked about it and at first, they denied they had offered to take the old door then said they would contact the garbage company and pay for the door removal. Again they NEVER even called the garbage collectors so I had to pay for the door removal. They have lied to me and been very disrespectful when I tried to complain.

"Honestly the statements made in this post are completely false statements she thanked us several times for the job we did on insulating her attic as well made several statements about how well our cleanup was apparently someone tried to break into her home and broke the back door and we offered to replace the door for her a zero cost we never stated that we would removed the door and we also called the garbage company and they said there was no charge after we explained the situation and as for the snow removal the snow we got was less than 1 inch and when we said we only remove at 2plus inches she began yelling over the phone and told us to."

Terrible company! They did not fill work on scope of contract . Lied to me, said I would get Xcell Center Point rebates .They are not certified and can not get rebates .This cost me $750.00. The insulation was poorly installed at best. Supposed to be 14 added evenly in attic some areas have over 2 ft other areas as little as 3. Did not box entrances. Did not show up at job with proper tools or materials to do job. Owner (Brandon) argued with me about install . This company want your money not the work.

THE BIGGEST BULL******** COMPANY and MANAGEMENT that you will ever do business with and give you a runaround with lots of aggravation and headache. I ve signed a paper on Jan.3rd 2020 to be told it will get done the next day(Jan.4th2020). Which did NOT happen, they send 2 young kids with barely enough insulation to fill a quarter of my attic and told will be back another time..(OKAY) weeks goes by, send a different set of kids that don t know much of anything or have any tools in their van (had to provide my tools) and still didn t get done and once again told will be back another time... Til today May 2020 and still not done and leave me hanging. If I could post up all the text between me and this S***** company with the so call Manager/Owner I would just to show people how F****D UP this person is. Brandon the so call manager is biggest bull****** and full of s**** and lies that will say anything to get your business then change his whole word on you. Better get everything in writing, better off, record it on video, my mistake, I should HAve done that. And his wife Pam as the owner hmmm go figure... She just does not give a s***, will try to act like she will do something and will not. This company is a total joke and C***! If you like to have a headache and give away free money then they are the right company for you. They do not follow any guidelines or restrictions and housing codes to do any work. I had made complaints to the Minnesota of Labor about what their doings. Also, after spoken and had help with the town hall, they also made a complaint to side with me cause they did NOT follow any guidelines to do work on my house. I can go on and on about this sh*** company and people who run it but, I m going to leave it here and hope the karma will get back to them. I don t wish bad things on people but this COMPANY deserves to get hit rock bottom to S***and HELL!!! I will spread the word for people around my neighborhood and family/friends about them and hopefully writing this review will help people to not do business with them. I wish I can put out my email to let people reach out to me for proof of the text and how F****D UP they are I would but, I don t want to fill up my mailbox. So, to EVERYONE that is reading this and looking to do business with them... RUN!!!!! FAST!!!! Oh yeah, if you see positive reviews on here, it is probably fake or it is one of their friends and family cause there s nothing good or good of work this s***** company does. BELIEVE the Negative reviews, those are real like mines... and last but not least to say is: F**** YOU!

Brandon, Pam, Ryan, and Deseraie were all very helpful in completing our insulation project and were very knowledgeable in answering all our questions! I am very excited to see the fruits of their labor and my investment pay off in lower energy bills, lack of ice dams, and some actual snow accumulation on the roof!
