"SkyVUE Design Build LLC Response 12/12/2018 We have reached out to customer to rectify issues with no response thus far. Customer has not let us resolve any issues before leaving this review with no warning, but would rather tarnish our reputation. We will still reach out to the customer to resolve any problems if we are allowed. We have yet to receive any letters or verbal notice to stop work."
"Hello All, SkyVUE needs to address their side of the story in this matter. Many details have not been mentioned in the review, which is understandable. Below is our side of what happened throughout the project. Jason Peters is a partner and owner of SkyVUE Design Build and former partner of Lone Star State Construction as well as Branding Texas. He has been in the construction field for all his working life. We can provide many, many great references on Jason and his partner Daren Peters partner and owner of SVDB.LLC as well as a former partner of LSSC.LLC and BT.LLC. We are a small father and son construction firm that strives to be better than the rest! SkyVUE by no means did a perfect, and or a great job on this project. No one is perfect, and we by no means can make everyone happy, no matter how much we try. We appreciate every person who give us an opportunity to work for them. Mr. Mike Faulk was no different, a great client. We were all working toward a common goal. A quality, well built, no corners taken approach. We all agreed to work together, as well as knowing the risks that come along with such a remodel of an old home that was not occupied in so long. Many, and I mean many things came up in this project especially due to the fact that no one had in living or entered this home for give or take 17 years (other than the occasional unwanted vagrant or squatter). There was a lot to be uncovered and discovered when demolition was complete. We all knew these issues to be discovered before going into this project, but always with the common goal to make it function well and look great! The initial budget was to completely remodel the interior of the home including kitchen, bedrooms, adding an office/bedroom and opening up living and dining area by raising gable roof line. Once we opened up the walls, ceiling and foundation we discovered the lack of continuous maintenance that would have been done in an occupied home. Electrical, plumbing, mechanical, foundation were all non-upgradable, repairable or maintainable. Replacement was need an extra expense which was on the home owner, who was fully aware of the undiscovered issues going into the build. We spent over a six weeks or more diagnosing, bidding and reworking the estimate at the best price to give the client, all while still working on what would we could accomplish on the inside of the home without going too far because of the needed repairs as well as the wanted master bedroom suite addition. On the fence was a full master suite addition over 500 square feet. We were doing 3D custom designing and adding to the existing home while work was in progress at the residence. After many changes and adjustments to the 3D design the home owner decided to go forward with the addition. This decision was over five months into the build and even brought down our price to make the deal. The paperwork for change orders stated expenses, time added and other details the client seemed to ov"
