Great experience with Slabaugh Construction. I needed some miscellaneous small items around the house. My daughter recommended Chris. I called him and he responded within 24 hours and came by within a day or two. Actually, all work was complete within 10 working days and would have been completed by Chris faster if some of the items would not have been old and hard to find replacement parts for. He replaced a light fixture and faucet to my deep sink in my laundry room; purchased, picked up and laid river rock in an area in my back yard, replaced some weather stripping on porch screen doors; installed a gutter extension; patched some flaking on my chimney and installed rails in my post and rail fence. He was very thoughtful and I highly recommend him. He is definitely on my speed dial now.

He is a very in respect person, he always pushes my job for months and he never did the job, I bought the materials and he never did the job, he does not treat well his clients, I think that is why he does not do the job, and when I texted him to ask when he was coming, he was rude, so I had a very bad experience with this contractor, so be aware, I found him because HomeAdvisor recommended him.

0 stars. Inexperienced, unreliable, and incompetent. We asked Chris not to come back to finish the job and/or remove the splattered paint from porch screens and flagstone flooring his helper left because we had no confidence the problems would be resolved. Spoke to the complaint resolution advisor. Then accordingly paid half, which was more than he earned. It cost us $3000 to redo the work Chris did and to repair the damage he left behind.

Chris responded within 20 min of the project been posted and was able to schedule the work within a couple of days. Did quick and thorough work, and even did a few extra small things while here.
