Paid for services,not yet received.Was put off several times for several months and eventually got no response to any correspondence.Total sham!!

Didn't have appraisal results 2 weeks later. Needed to call to inquire.

Very quick to take my money. Never got the appraisal I paid for.... a total fraud...will not even return my phone calls and emails.

Finish on time listening to the customer and responding as expected. Working with a reasonable price

His pricing for the appraisal was better than most but when I asked about having him attend the hearing, I felt his pricing was either structured to deter hiring him or it was genuinely outrageous. Either way, he did everything he stated he would, in the time he indicated and was professional throughout.

The service and information was good. I think that I could refer others to this service.

One time and responsive. Michael performed a through an accurate appraisal. He has excellent customer service and was a pleasure to work with.

We contacted him on December 4th, he was scheduled to come out on December 9th. He did come but we have yet to receive our appraisal. We contacted him on December 23, as he had told us it would be 7-10 days and we had not yet heard from him. On 12/23 he told us we would have it before "the Holiday", we assumed that meant by December 25th. It is now 12/28 and we have yet to receive anything. We contacted him this morning and he told us by the end of the day - it is now 5:20 and still no appraisal. We are disappointed that we paid 100% up front and still have nothing and at this point don't know if we ever will.

Michael performed a thorough and very professional report/appraisal for my property. I am very happy with his work and it was a pleasure having him visit my home.

Mike was great he was here on time, appraised my home and was done. Sat and talked to me and my daughter for a min and I was very satisfied.

I called them up and they came out to do an appraisal for an additional property. They looked at it and said he would put it together with the square footage and then send it in. I paid him in advance and sent him all the paperwork, but that was six weeks ago. He hasn't done a thing for me and I have called him multiple times. I should have read his reviews because it seems others have this issue with him as well and I don't think he should be on your site.

Didn't show up 1st time around after I waited an hour - said he got lost. Was late 2nd time around. Was more interested in talking than doing the appraisal - I had taken time off work 2x for this man. Cashed my check within 24 hours and I've been waiting 2-1/2 weeks, so far, for appraisal report. Ignores phone calls and emails. Next call/email he gets will be from my attorney.

Promised delivery of appraisal within at most 7 to 10 days. 18 days later no appraisal. Called him and he said it was mailed. Since I didn't have it, requested that he e-mail it. Said he would, but still don't have it. E-mails to him go unanswered. He requested payment on the day of the appraisal, and cashed the check on the same day Will probably have to go to court to get payment returned, and will be filing a complaint with th re Better Business Bureau Have used Home Advisor for projects in two states, and have never had an experience like this

The man was late and didn't give the accurate value of my house with a in-law suite and I couldn't even use it in a session with the lawyers

Mr. Sloane was the only appraiser I contacted that would work with me on my tight deadline, and budget. He was a blessing sent to me and a great business man.

DO NOT HIRE THIS APPRAISER. I hired Mr. Sloane to appraise my house. He said he would complete the appraisal in one week. It's been three weeks and I still do not have the appraisal. I have emailed numerous times, phoned several times and he always says he'll send it the next day. But he doesn't. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get my $350 back. This is so unprofessional and unacceptable. Home advisor should not be recommending this company. Buyer beware.

I saw from other recent reviews that there had been a delivery problem, with people waiting many weeks to get their appraisal. In my case, I was promised an appraisal in one week and received it n three. The first appraisal had a few minor errors and needing to be corrected. Overall, though, I felt Michael did a thorough job and produced a professional report.
