Contacted this vendor via email and received almost instantaneous reply. Scheduled appt for that very afternoon, and Zain was very prompt and courteous. Checked out the old fridge and replaced the compressor relay, but also warned that the fault could be the compressor itself, and said a new one would cost almost as much as a new fridge. When the fridge still didn't work the next day, the company refunded the cost of the relay no questions asked. All I ended up paying for was the service call - and of course a new fridge!

Showed up on time, very polite and efficient. Was able to make the repair on the spot. I requested the technician call when they were on their way and he did making it easier for me to meet them at home instead of waiting there for the 3 hour window of opportunity. Will use again for future needs.

They called quickly and explained their billing process clearly. Technician 'Zain' called before coming, arrived as scheduled, was neat and identified himself (wearing company shirt). He examined the dryer, told me the problem options and cost of fixing it, if it was the first problem. It was the first problem and he repaired it. Receipt of services was detailed and clearly written. He cleaned up the area around the dryer before leaving. Took less than one hour...probably 45 minutes.

I called them on 12/23 and they came out that afternoon. Zain was very nice and explained it was a motor pulley - but only took about 15 mins and just took back of dryer off. Told me w/holiday that he'd have to wait until Tues to call about part and he'd let me know by noon that day. If in stock, he'd come out that Thurs or Fri. If not, could take a couple weeks. I didn't hear from him on Tues like he said, so I called. A receptionist told me that they couldn't get the part for 30-60 days. That's crazy since he told me a week, and especially since my husband found part online for less than $50 overnighted. The girl was dismissive and they obviously didn't want the work. I wasted $45 service fee for no reason.
Response by Smart Appliance Repair: Dear Adrienne, as we explained it was a factory order that take weeks to get, if you find something online we dont install those parts, reason, they are not original,we will not provide warranty, and we only charge you for installation which is more cost to you. so to save your time,money and energy we suggest the best possible !!! thank you

hubby said I should wait to make sure it's fixed but the popping sound is gone so hoping it is. will know in a couple of days. had to have the ice maker motor replaced. they called, they came, the took their reasonable service call amount against the total charge. very pleased, hope I continue to be. just don't give out 5's.

Had an excellent experience, was able to made an appointment the same day. good thing they carry the part needed, same day repair, estimate given was fair ,what else could i ask for. will hire them again
